Ladybug Picnic This design captures the feeling of a lazy summer picnic. Rick rack, fabric daisies and ladybug buttons are used to accent gingham scrapbooking paper to achieve this look.

Card

Difficulty – Easy Materials • • • • • • • • •

White plain gift card (plain gift cards can be found at your local craft store) Yellow and white gingham scrapbooking paper Small yellow rick rack Fabric daisies (1 medium and 5 small) 1 lady bug button (loop removed) Scotch® Precision Scissors (for cutting paper and ribbon) Scotch® Clear Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) Scotch® Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing rickrack) Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive (for gluing flowers and button)

Instructions 1. Using Scotch® Precision Scissors, cut a piece of the yellow gingham scrapbooking paper 1 inch smaller than the width and the full length of the front of the gift card. 2. Using the Scotch® Clear Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the gingham paper, especially around the edges. Attach it to the front of the gift card, lining up the edge of the paper with the right edge of the card. 3. Cut a piece of the rick rack the entire length of the front of the card. 4. Using the precision applicator of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach the piece of rickrack to the card overlapping the edge of gingham paper.

5. Using Scotch® Precision Scissors cut the stems off of the flowers so they are flat on the bottom. 6. Apply a small amount of Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of each of the flowers and attach to the card in the configuration shown below. 7. Apply glue to the back of the ladybug button and attach it to the center of the larger flower at a slight angle.

Gift Bag

White gift bag with stiff handles (plain gift bags are inexpensive and easy to find at your local craft or party store) Yellow and white gingham scrapbooking paper Small yellow rick rack 1/2 inch wide yellow grosgrain ribbon Fabric daisies (1 large and 2 small) 1 lady bug button (loop removed) Yellow and white decorative tissue Scotch® Precision Scissors (for cutting paper and ribbon) Scotch® Clear Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) Scotch® Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing rickrack) Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive (for gluing flowers and button)

Instructions 1. Using Scotch® Precision Scissors cut a piece of the gingham scrapbooking paper the entire width and two inches smaller than the length of the front of the bag. 2. Using the Scotch® Clear Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the gingham paper, especially around the edges. Attach it to the front of the bag centered between the top and bottom and lining up the edges of the paper with the edges of the bag.

3. Cut two pieces of the rick rack the entire width of the front of the gift bag. 4. Using the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach each piece of rick rack to the front of the gift bag so they are centered over each edge of the gingham craft paper.

5. To cover the handles, apply a small amount of Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive to a few inches of the back of the yellow grosgrain ribbon and wrap the ribbon around the handle where it meets with the inside of the bag. 6. Continue to add small amounts of glue to the ribbon a few inches at a time, slightly overlapping the ribbon as you continue to wrap the ribbon around the handle. 7. Finish by cutting the ribbon and gluing the end behind the handle where it meets with the inside of the bag. Repeat this process with the other handle.

8. Using Scotch® Precision Scissors cut the stems off of the flowers so they are flat on the bottom. 9. Apply a small amount of Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive to the back of each of the flowers and attach to the bag in the configuration shown below. 10. Apply glue to the back of the ladybug button and attach it to the center of the larger flower at a slight angle. .

11. Fill the bag with layered tissue paper.

Wrapped Box This design can be adapted to almost any size or shape box.

White wrapping paper Yellow and white gingham scrapbooking or craft paper Small yellow rick rack Fabric daisies (1 large and 2 small) 1 lady bug button (loop removed) Scotch® Double Sided Tape or Scotch® Pop-Up Tape (for wrapping gift) Scotch® Precision Scissors (for cutting paper and ribbon) Scotch® Clear Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) Scotch® Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing rickrack) Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive (for gluing flowers and button)

Instructions 1. Wrap a box in white wrapping paper using either Scotch® Double Sided Tape or Scotch® Pop-Up Tape. 2. Cut a piece of the gingham scrapbooking paper 2 inches smaller than the length and the full width of the top of the box. 3. Using the Scotch® Clear Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the craft paper especially around the edges. Attach the craft paper to the box, centering the paper evenly on the top of the box. 4. Using Scotch® Precision Scissors cut two pieces of the rick rack the entire width of the front of the box. 5. Using the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach each piece of rick rack to the front of the box so they are centered over the edges of the gingham craft paper.
