This award is given to the State Association that has been involved the most in the national organization during the year. It is based on a variety of criteria that is completed during the year. Each area is given point values. The winner will be based on totals points awarded. A permanent award will be kept by the national association with the state association name added to the Trophy that will be displayed at each national clinic. This award is given in the name of our association founders - Jerry and Elaine Miles. The Criteria: A. The state association with the most members in the national organization will be awarded 50 points. (The next highest will receive 49, the next 48, etc.). B. The state association with the most assistant coaches/others in the national organization will be awarded 50 points (The next will receive 49, the next 48, etc.). C. The state association with the most members registered at the national clinic will be awarded 50 points (The next will receive 49, the next 48, etc.). D. The state association with the most head coaches attending the national clinic will be awarded 50 points (The next will receive 49, the next 48, etc.). E. The state association with the most assistant coaches/others attending the national clinic will be awarded 50 points (The next will receive 49, the next 48, etc.). F. Each state will be awarded 10 points for each member they have on the BCA Cabinet. G. Each state will be awarded 10 points for each member they have on the BCA Executive Committee. H. Each state will be awarded 5 points for having members on a BCA Committee. The committees are: 1. The All American selection committee. 2. The National Ranking committee. 3. Coach of Year/Groundskeeper-Field of Year Committee. 4. Hall of Fame Committee
