Engage in collaborative coding and design using ipads, Mindstorm Lego Robotics, laptops, more Legos, and everyday items! Can you imagine? Then you can make it happen!
Beach Bash!
Team Leader: Kidz Art Enjoy the freedom of creating art that brings out the uniqueness of every artist in this inspiring camp! This art camp offers “oceans” of options using printmaking, water colors, acrylic on canvas, pastels, and more. Come surf the waves of fun in this summer camp!

Bible Bites
Team Leaders: Mrs. McConnell and Mrs. Worsham They say “you are what you eat”. Have you ever thought about what it would be like if people in the bible lived in 2014? What would they see and eat? Grab your bible and your mixing bowl and eat your way through history and the bible with Chef McConnell and Chef Worsham on this bible based culinary camp adventure! Tasty!
Five Day Play!
Team Leader: Mr. Roes Calling all actors and actresses! If you love being on stage, don't miss out on the RPDS Five Day Play! During this five-day camp, we will have tons of fun with acting games and perform in a wonderful play for other students, family and friends at the end of the week. Costumes, stage lights, dancing and music will set our play into action. You'll be amazed at what we can do in only FIVE days!
Minecraft Maniacs
Team Leader: Mrs. Sherlock Minecraft is a computer based game in which players work collaboratively to create and break apart various kinds of blocks in three-dimensional worlds. Under the supervision of Mrs. Sherlock, campers will explore the basic concepts of city planning, municipal government, budgeting, using higher-level cooperative thinking associated with living in societies. Creativity and fun will be experienced by all in this Minecraft camp.

The Art of Speed Stacking

Team Leader: Ms. Johnson Two favorite pastimes combined in this yummy camp…cooking and reading! Dawn your apron and create dishes to enhance your favorite books. Reading has never tasted so good.

Circus Under the Big Top
Team Leader: Mazza-Smith Studios Join ring master Sherri Mazza as you experience clowns, acrobatics, juggling and more in this high flying circus camp! Get ready for the greatest camp show on earth as you tap into your silly side by jumping through hoops, taming lions and clowning around in a three ring performance for all in Kissling Hall.
Super Science
Team Leader: Isabelle Milne Investigate this super scientific camp with “mad scientist Milne” where you will launch your knowledge of rockets, reveal chemical reactions, discover wacky experiments and sink into silly slime! There is so much to explore in this scientific camp.

Aerospace Engineering: Taking to the Skies

Blast off in this Aerospace Engineering camp that introduces campers to the fundamental concepts of aircraft and spacecraft design. Through open and focused exploration, students explore and construct airplanes, rockets, hot air balloons, and more. This camp is sure to be a blast!
Fantastically Fabulous Art

This is the hot summer version of the very popular art academy where we will explore the art world through the eyes of MERMAIDS and always with a little sparkle. Dive in and see what a mermaid sees!

Week 8 – July 28 – August 1
LEGO Engineers
Team Leader: Engineering for Kids - Mr. Ryan Murphy This engineering camp is a perfect mixture of fun and learning using LEGO® WeDo Robots and LEGO® Mindstorm. Campers will apply engineering principals as they build a hungry alligator, a flying bird, and a roaring lion. Then they will learn how to program and operate their creations using a laptop computer. Campers will continue to develop their engineering know how as they use Mindstorm LEGO kits to create robots, race cars and more. The sky is the limit with over 10,000 LEGO pieces campers can engineer anything they can imagine!
Cooking the Books-Part II

More delicious creations will tickle your tummy as Chef Johnson combines two favorite pastimes...cooking and reading! Bring your apron and create more tasty treats that will enhance your enjoyment of books. Reading has never tasted so good!

Reading Rocks (Rising 2nd and 3rd Graders)

Join Mrs. Milne and find out just how much fun reading can be! We will practice all the phonics and spelling patterns learned so you will be a super star reader when school starts. Games with literature and a fun book project will bring books to life. Reading with Mrs. Milne ROCKS!
