Greetings from the Club President In this, our 40th year as a club, the Cambridge Speed Skating club is excited to host the fourth competition in the Ontario Provincial Series Meet this season. We welcome all skaters and family members from across the t province.. Many volunteers have been working hard to make this an enjoyable weekend with good competition and sportsmanship. This week weekend we are joined by See their display in the Gallery for information on what they have to offer. We wish all participants a fun, safe and successful skating experience. History and Story of CSSC The Cambridge Speed Skating Club was formed in the1972-73 season by a dedicated group of individuals who wanted to see youth participate in and eventually become competitive in the sport of speed skating. Since then the Cambridge Speed Skating Club has put through many Provincial and Canadian Champions, including Olympic Athletes, Kevin Crockett, Cindy Overland, Overland Amanda Overland and Derrick Campbell. We are extremely proud of our coaches and the many volunteers who make our club what it is today.
