I have found in times of trouble or times of joy, whether on the mountain or in the valley, praise and worship bring me closer to God. In His presence, there is fullness of joy, no negativity, no harmful thoughts, just peace in reflecting on who He is. Find time today to get into a place where you can praise and worship The Lord and watch how your thoughts change.

You are a treasure. You are a beautiful jewel. You are God’s beloved.

Day 6 Read: Proverbs 16:24. Reflect: Do you notice as you speak kindly about yourself your atmosphere and outlook on life is changing? How have your kind words brought healing to your soul? _______________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ In the Bible, honey signifies abundance and blessings. This journal is a step to learning how to speak abundance and blessings over ourselves. I hope that it has encouraged you to speak kind words. The Bible says to encourage yourself (I Samuel 30:6) and to build yourself up. Words are how we do that. Words that are sweet, kind and gracious like honey. When we speak kindly about ourself, our entire world changes. Blessings and abundance come our way, they come to our family and to our homes. Write a prayer of Thanksgiving to The Lord giving Him praise for who He created you to be. _______________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ “Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.” Proverbs 16:24

Day7 Pray: Father, help me to continue to speak words of affirmation and praise. Help me to continue to see myself as You see me. Harness my thoughts and my tongue to speak only words that heal. Reflect: As we come to the end of our seven day study, I hope and pray that you have come to see yourself as Christ sees you. It may take longer than seven days to make a habit of healing ourselves with our words, but I pray that you are off to a great start. List as many sentences you can that speak healing and gracious words about yourself. _______________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________

You are a child of God and that is the best place to start.
