Reviews of existing standards and codes across Europe and North America. Eurocode considerations. What are the current limits of applications (spans, shapes, corrugations)? What are the specific features for applications and design in roads and railways? Design in sloping terrains. Experience and suggestions. Fatigue in flexible structures. Current findings and design application. What are the best examples of design, construction and aesthetics of flexible structures? What are the maintenance and durability issues related to hundreds of thousands of built flexible structures across the globe? What are the best bridge and culvert management practices for flexible structures? What are the environmental aspects of using buried flexible structures? How does life-cycle and sustainability issues affect buried flexible structures? What are the advancements in corrosion protection systems?
