Who Is This For? This is a High Performance Program. Student Athletes who are accepted, will typically be playing in the higher levels of their sport. The Culture created by the P3 Sports Academy is built on the Value based Foundation of Professional F.E.A.R. We are looking for Male & Female Athletes who already exemplify a degree of that Professional Focus, Effort, Attitude, and Respect and willingness to push themselves and those around them to get out of their comfort zone in their everyday lives. Student Athletes at the Academy will have a passion for their sport, a high motivation to set and achieve goals, and become Leaders in their Sport and Community. The on and off-ice Programs offered through the Academy will provide the Student Athletes every opportunity to discover themselves, their strengths and current limitations and to put a plan in place to overcome these limitations to be the best student, athlete and citizen they can be.

Academy Objectives Provide on and off-ice training where student athletes develop the game skills and knowledge to be able to play at a high level. More important than developing High Performance Student Athletes through the Hockey Academy, the Academy sets out to develop; Successful Leaders Confident & Resilient Individuals Excellent Communicators Winners

Yearly Breakdown GRADE 10-12 (receive each year) 60 On-Ice Sessions 85 P3/Tribe Training Sessions 35 B.O.L.D. Classes (1 per week) 15 High School Credits per year September – March 2 x Ice Sessions / week 2 x P3 Training Session week April - June 1 x Ice Session / week 3 x P3 Training Sessions / week **# of sessions are an estimate and may be subject to minor changes upon coordinating with School Calendar.

High School Courses & Credits Academy Classes will serve as an “Option/Elective” for the Student Athletes.

Grade 9 – Phys. Ed, Sports Performance Grade 10 - C.A.L.M. (5 Credits), Phys. Ed. (5 Credits), Sports Performance (5 Credits) Grade 11 – Phys. Ed. (5 Credits), C.A.L.M. (5 Credits), Sports Performance (5 Credits) Grade 12 – Phys. Ed. (5 Credits), Sports Performance (up to 10 Credits)

Up to 45 Credits Total **Sports Performance Options are available in Package

School Logistics School Liaison(s) – 1 teacher per school to Liaise between P3 Sports Academy and their School. Evaluations – P3 Coaches work with the Teacher(s) and School Administration to assign grades for all aspects of the Academy. Insurance • •

All Athletes are insured by P3 Sports Inc. and the Schools. All P3 Coaches are insured by P3 Sports Inc. and certified by Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta.

Logistics Travel •

Athletes will be dropped off at specified location and either walk back or be bussed back school in time for their next Class. Tardiness will not be tolerated.

Equipment • •

Athletes will have storage rooms set aside at SLS FSC to be able to leave their equipment during the week. Storage Room will be secured at all times

Scheduling •

High School – P3 Sport Academy Class would begin just before or during Block 1 to allow for Travel time back to school for block 2
