There are also VIA Rail train stations within close driving distance as well as two international airports within a 3 hour drive (Lester B. There is limited winter maintenance so pilots should call ahead to check runway conditions and fuel availability. Nav Canada is in the process of setting up a web cam available on their weather site to show the actual weather conditions at the airport. The River’s Edge Golf course is adjacent to the Airport and will pick up pilots for lunch, dinner or Golf! There is cab service available and it is only a 2 minute drive to town. Overnight camping is permitted. Membership to the Oak Hills Flying Club is $40.00 annually. Members have unlimited access to the Clubhouse. There is limited winter maintenance so pilots should call ahead to check runway conditions.
