3) General notes on operating BT5000 HF scoreboards Communication between the scoreboard and the main keyboard operates without any modification via HF radio link (cordless) or via cable link. The method of use for HF radio or cable version keyboards is the same. A radio antenna is incorporated in the keyboard (not visible) (except for wired BT5000 HF Club main keyboard). A radio antenna is located on the top left-hand side of the scoreboard (for the BT5011 and BT5012), for the other models BT5001/10 Club, BT5002P/6, it is incorporated in the scoreboard. One keyboard can control 1 or several boards. Before starting up the console, ensure that the scoreboard is powered with 230 V (display of time visible). If the secondary keyboard is used for managing individual player fouls, it is controlled by the main keyboard. Connect the secondary keyboard to the main keyboard before starting up the main keyboard (Cable with yellow marking). Proceed in the same way if the 24-35 seconds (Basket) keyboard is used and connect it to the main keyboard (Fig 1, 2, 3 pages 7 - 8). The HF keyboard can be supplied with 230 V if the internal battery is discharged (see chapter on recharging keyboard batteries). The main keyboard can be connected with wire to the main scoreboard (black marking).
