Allgemeine Information und Gefahrenhinweise Der Bremskolben-Werkzeug-Satz ist passend für alle gängigen Fahrzeugtypen. Benutzen Sie den Bremskolben-WerkzeugSatz zum Zurücksetzen von Bremskolben an schwimmend gelagerten Bremssattelanlagen mit Handbrems-Feststelleinrichtung. Arbeitsanleitung für Bremssattelanlagen mit Handbrems-Feststelleinrichtung • Bremssattel lösen und zur Seite schwenken. • Bremsbeläge entfernen. • Prüfen, ob im Bremsflüssigkeits-Ausgleichsbehälter genügend Raum für die beim Zurücksetzen des Bremskolbens zurückfließende Bremsflüssigkeit vorhanden ist. • Gemäß Herstellerangabe muss die Spindel – linksdrehend oder rechtsdrehend – ausgewählt und mit dem entsprechenden Adapter versehen werden. • Spindel fetten. • Grundgerät mit passendem Adapter und Spindel in den Bremssattel einsetzen und ranfahren. • Spindel/Adapter solange nach rechts bzw. links drehen, bis der Bremskolben in seiner Ausgangsstellung ist.

• Spindel zurückdrehen und Werkzeug herausnehmen. • Werkzeug entfernen, Bremssattel mit Bremsbeläge montieren, Bremsflüssigkeitsstand und Bremswirkung überprüfen. • Unbedingt die jeweiligen Herstellerangaben beachten.

Achtung: • Immer Herstellerangaben beachten. • Reparaturen an Bremsanlagen nur durch Fachpersonal durchführen lassen. • Bestehende Sicherheits- und Unfallverhütungsvorschriften beachten. • Bremskolben an Bremssattelanlagen mit Handbrems-Feststelleinrichtung dürfen nicht zurückgedrückt sondern nur zurückgedreht werden. Wartung / Instandhaltung • Spindeln ausreichend fetten. Zuordnung gemäß Tabelle auf den Seiten 5 bis 16

Brake Piston Tool Set, 37 pieces

General Information and Safety Precautions The Brake Piston Tool Set is suitable for all common vehicle types. It may be used for the readjustment of brake pistons on floating calliper systems with locking device for hand brakes. Operating instructions for calliper systems with locking device for hand brakes • Loosen the brake calliper and swivel it to the side. • Remove the brake pads. • Please make sure that there is enough space in the fluid reservoir for the admission of the brake fluid flowing back into the fluid reservoir when readjusting the brake piston. • Choose a spindle (left-handed or right-handed) according to the indications of the manufacturer and fit an appropriate adapter. • Lubricate the spindle. • Insert the assembly with the suitable adapter and spindle into the brake calliper and move close. • Turn the spindle/adapter to the right or left until the brake piston regains its initial position. • Wind back the spindle and remove the tool. • Remove the tool, install the brake calliper with the brake pads and check the brake fluid level as well as the braking effect. • It is absolutely necessary to consider the regulations of the manufacturer.

Attention: • Always consider the regulations of the manufacturer. • Repair work on brake systems should only be executed by qualified personnel. • Follow the safety regulations and the rules for prevention of accidents carefully! • Brake pistons on calliper systems with locking device for hand brakes must not be pushed back but turned back.
