BMW WINTER DRIVING EXPERIENCE 2016 CONCEPT The BMW Winter Experience offers an ultimate winter sport driving on an amazing snow and ice circuits in an exciting one-day course. Our BMW instructors, who have a wealth of racing experience, will teach you how to control a car at high speed on an ice-covered racing circuit. Driving on ice and snow is not however only about high speeds: we focus on confident, safe driving in extreme conditions. And not to forget, we experience the joy of BMW in beautiful Nordic surroundings.

The Winter Driving Experience covers key elements vital to improving driving with limited grip, such as steering technique and vehicle dynamics. Exercises include emergency braking and avoiding, and front and rear wheel skid control (under- and oversteer). The participants will experience handling of their car with and without the help of Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). To end the session, participants compete against each other in a playful competition, utilizing the skills learned throughout the day. Every car has an instructor with them at all times. The Instructor team is led by Mr. Jarkko Miettinen, a certified M-level BMW Driving Experience Instructor from the International BMW Driving Instructor Academy.

BMW WINTER DRIVING EXPERIENCE 2016 LOCATION AND FLIGHTS BMW WDE 2016 is held at the official home town of Santa Claus and the capital of Lapland, Rovaniemi. Rovaniemi lays exactly at Arctic Circle.

Snowy and icy conditions are guaranteed throughout the program. In March the daylight time is already 12 hours and we can expect sunny and bright winter weather. In Lapland you can easily spot reindeers and if we are lucky, there is a chance to see northern lights.

Rovaniemi has excellent flight connections from Helsinki airport and also good variety of flights from abroad as well. Finnair flies 4 times a day between Helsinki and Rovaniemi. Connecting flight through Helsinki: Helsinki-Rovaniemi approx. 1 hour

BMW WINTER DRIVING EXPERIENCE 2016 PACKAGE & PRICE One full day of winter driving in arctic environment. Utilization of broad fleet of BMW model range, all equipped with xDrive. Fully catered (cottage lunch, restaurant dinner and hotel breakfast). Accommodation in single rooms in a boutiqué hotel.

All transportations at the location BMW winter jacket + hat Certificate of participation. Drivers must hold a valid full-class license; minimum 18 years of age.

Price for 1 day BMW WDE package: 1150,00 € + VAT 24 % / person, 12 person in a group (flights not incl.)

BMW WINTER DRIVING EXPERIENCE 2016 ACCOMMODATION

Customers will stay at Arctic Light Hotel Rovaniemi which was just opened in April 2014. Arctic Light Hotel is a brand new boutiqué hotel in the heart of Rovaniemi city.

Tracks are located only 25 minutes from hotel, thus the whole programme takes place within small area and transfer times are minimized. Transfers are done with BMW VIP shuttle cars, so you just have to arrive to Rovaniemi and we will take care of the rest!
