Supervises tax staff in accordance with County policies, collective bargaining agreements and applicable laws. o Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, planning, assigning and directing work, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems. o Assists staff with unusual or difficult questions. o Assists training staff on property taxes and annual tax sales. o Reviews and analyzes the work of subordinates to ensure correct procedures and methods are being used, calling attention to errors or use or incorrect procedures or methods. o Schedules leave and other absences for employees.
