RECENT CHANGES TO AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS CHAIN SLINGS FOR LIFTING PURPOSES - GRADE T (80) AND V (100) AS 3775.1 AND AS 3775.2-2014 Recently the new standard for chain slings was released (AS 3775.2 – 2014) which supersedes AS 3775 – 2004. This impacts inspection and testing frequencies and identifies changes to some configurations and assemblies, such as a reeved sling, which can no longer be used at 90° or 120° (only 60°). Hoisting Equipment Specialists are NATA accredited and our qualified staff offer a complete inspection and testing service to ensure your equipment is safe as required by Australian Standards.
