WHAT CAUSES HAIR STRUCTURES TO BECOME DAMAGED? Excessive combing, dyeing and perming as well as heat from hair dryers and curlers, intense sunshine and salt water will make hair brittle and prone to split ends. The hair structure becomes damaged, hair breaks, yet the hair roots remain active. Each hair consists of three layers:

1 THE MEDULLA: It is the innermost layer of every hair and consists of keratin. Keratins (fibrous proteins) make up the structure of each individual hair, making the formation of hair possible. They lend hair the necessary moisture, tone and elasticity and offer protection against sunshine, cold and heat. 3 The cuticle 2 THE CORTEX: As the thickest layer, it comprises 75 to 90% of a hair and is made up of parallel keratin fibres. It largely determines the hair’s nature, i.e. its structure, colour, elasticity, thickness and moisture content. 3 THE CUTICLE: Just like a pine cone, the hair is protected against harmful external influences by a multi-layered thin cuticle. This cuticle is transparent and therefore allows the colour pigments in the hair to gleam through.

HOW TO USE: Gently massage into wet hair and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.

HOW TO USE: After washing the hair with Revalid® shampoo, apply evenly to moist hair. Leave in for a moment, comb through and rinse thoroughly.

NOURISH REVALID ® REPAIR MASK, 150 ML Revalid® repair mask is an intensive care treatment. The repairing formula is enriched with nourishing ingredients such as panthenol (vitamin B5), allantoin, wheat protein and oat extract which penetrate deep into the hair. Revalid® repair mask strengthens damaged hair, reduces the risk of breakage and leaves the hair silky, supple and smooth. It also fights frizz and split ends when used regularly.

HOW TO USE: Apply to the entire head after washing the hair with Revalid® shampoo. Leave it for about 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. For an enhanced nourishing and repair effect, use the Revalid® repair mask twice per week or as needed.

REACTIVATE REVALID ® HAIR TONIC, 20 VIALS X 6 ML Revalid® hair tonic with energizing formula comprising caffeine fights follicle aging, prevents hair loss and stimulates hair growth. The gentle massaging action when applying the tonic serves to stimulate blood circulation. Containing caffeine, the tonic has a positive effect on the vitality of hair roots, making them stronger. The tonic reinforces weak hair and protects against damage. Panthenol (vitamin B5) soothes the scalp.

HOW TO USE: Apply to wet or dry hair. Ideally in the morning and in the evening. Recommendation: use for a period of at least 2–3 months to allow hair roots to regenerate.
