BC JOB FAIRS CONNECTING EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES

Finding the right people for the right job is key to British Columbia’s economic success in the busy years ahead. That is why I am inviting you, and other key employers across British Columbia, to join us in our new province-wide job fairs initiative which is aimed at connecting British Columbians who are looking for work with employers who are looking for qualified employees. Complete details are attached, with the BC Jobs Start Here job fairs being held in 24 communities this fall. They will be attended by local employers like you, and British Columbians looking for career opportunities. Each job fair will also include the touring BC Jobs Start Here mobile exhibit which provides an interactive online opportunity that connects British Columbians with career information, employment services, job banks and local job events organized through WorkBC. This special province-wide initiative is being organized as part of Canada Starts Here: The BC Jobs Plan, the Government of British Columbia’s campaign to promote economic development and job growth across our province.
