SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

BATH IN FASHION 2016 A CELEBRATION OF FASHION AND STYLE IN A WORLD HERITAGE CITY The Bath of today was shaped by extraordinary imagination; a world class city that was in the 18th Century both radical and bold, a city that was ahead of its time, described by UNESCO as “a masterpiece of human creative genius”. For the 21st Century, this inspiring environment continues to attract highly-skilled and talented people – inventors, designers, artisans, entrepreneurs and future-thinkers. It is against this canvas that Bath in Fashion has evolved over the past five years into a significant fashion event. Bath in Fashion brings together celebrities from the world of fashion with the creative energy of the city of Bath, an outstanding fashion design department at Bath Spa University, drawing on Bath’s heritage of fashionability with a world-renowned Fashion Museum. —

BATH IN FASHION 2015 Word on the Street Claudia Croft, Head of Fashion The Sunday Times Style:“ I love the way you get incredible people to come to Bath - international fashion names; people who are eminent in their field; people who have incredible things to say. There’s a lot of depth to what goes on. People come away from the event having learnt something and enriched their fashion knowledge.” Susie Lau, Style Bubble “ I think it’s a really lovely event. Bath is a beautiful backdrop to the week. It’s a really well put together event and it’s a pleasure to be part of it. Fashion has become a lot more accessible……there are fashion enthusiasts everywhere – all around the UK. Sheila McCain-Waid, Creative Director of Jaeger “ it’s exciting to see what is happening outside London – sometimes people become very London-centric. I love Bath as a city and we have commissioned a limited edition scarf of the Royal Crescent to celebrate our collaboration with Bath in Fashion. There’s such an affinity for Jaeger with the British public. I’m taking the best of the classics with a new fashion sensibility.” Nigel Oddy, CEO, House of Fraser: It was great for Jolly’s to be a part of this great Bath In Fashion event, and they would certainly consider sponsoring part or all of the event again for next year. Indeed they were very proud to be the official main sponsor this year, and they felt even more a part of the community and part of the pulse of Bath.
