Batch Photo Upload Photos for an individual Unit can now be uploaded all at once instead of one at a time. This will allow you to get new Units and new photos of existing Units into your EscapiaVRS system much more quickly and efficiently.
Before you begin… In order to utilize the new Batch Photo Upload feature you must have Microsoft Silverlight installed on your machine. If you do not have Silverlight installed you can continue to upload photos individually. Microsoft Silverlight is a free web-browser plug-in that will allow you to upload your photos quickly and easily – if you use video streaming programs, you may have Silverlight installed on your machine already. You can get Microsoft Silverlight here: http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/ Once you have Silverlight installed, you are ready to begin.

Batch Photo Upload Once you click on ADD PICTURES, the Multiple Picture Uploader pop-up window will open.
Click on the BROWSE button to browse and select photos. This will open Windows Explorer, so that you can browse through your folders, locate and select your photos.

Batch Photo Upload You can select multiple photos to upload at one time by holding down the CTRL key on either side of your keyboard while you select photos.
Once you have selected all of the photos you wish to upload in this batch, click on OPEN You will see all of your selected photos in the MULTIPLE PICTURE UPLOADER popup window. From here you can also click on the red X in the top corner of any photos that you no longer wish to upload.

Batch Photo Upload Click on the UPLOAD button. In the next step, you will see thumbnails of the photos you have just uploaded. Here, you can choose to add photo Categories and Descriptions either individually or all at once.

Batch Photo Upload EDIT PICTURES: ALL AT ONCE If you choose to edit pictures all at once, you will be taken to a screen that looks like the following. If you select a Category and enter a Picture Name and Description all photos in this batch will be labeled with the same information.
Choose a category from the CATEGORY dropdown menu. Enter a PICTURE NAME and DESCRIPTION if needed and SAVE. If you change your mind about Categorizing photos all at once, fear not, you can still select Process Individually from the top left corner of the pop-up window.

Batch Photo Upload EDIT PICTURES: INDIVIDUALLY If you have chosen to edit pictures individually, you will be given the opportunity to add information to each photo, one at a time. Select a CATEGORY, add PICTURE NAME and DESCRIPTION, and then click SAVE AND NEXT. SAVE AND NEXT saves your work and takes you to the next picture. Once you have edited the last photo click on SAVE AND FINISH to complete the process.

Batch Photo Upload After you SAVE AND FINISH, your pictures will appear in their assigned categories. Any photos that have not been categorized will appear in the UNCATEGORIZED section to the right.
*** After you are done editing and saving, it is important that you click SAVE at the bottom of the PICTURES screen as well, so that you don’t lose all the work you just did.

Batch Photo Upload Once you are done uploading photos, you can go back and edit or delete multiple photos at one time. You can also re-categorize or re-organize groups of photos in just a few clicks.
SELECT & EDIT MULTIPLE EXISTING PHOTOS AT ONE TIME UNITS> UNITS> OPEN UNIT> PICTURES TAB Hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard. Click on all photos you wish to edit – selected photos will be highlighted in red. If you selected a photo in error, or no longer wish to edit it, while still holding down the CTRL key, simply click on the photo again to de-select it.

Batch Photo Upload This will open the EDIT PICTURES pop-up window. The default for editing pictures is to edit pictures individually, but as before, you have the ability to click on the PROCESS ALL AT ONCE option and make the same changes to all photos at one time.
From here you can change the category, change the display order of the picture, change picture name, and change the description or make it the Primary Default Picture. If you’re editing pictures individually, once you have finished updating the first picture click on SAVE AND NEXT. When finished, click on SAVE AND FINISH. This is also the method you would use to categorize any uncategorized photos. *** After you are done editing and saving, it is important that you click SAVE at the bottom of the PICTURES screen as well, so that you don’t lose all the work you just did.

Batch Photo Upload DELETE MULTIPLE PHOTOS AT ONE TIME UNITS> UNITS> OPEN UNIT> PICTURES TAB To delete multiple pictures at one time, hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard, click on the photos that will be deleted. Selected photos will be highlighted in red. Click on the DELETE button. This will bring up the DELETE pop-up window where you confirm that you want to delete the selected photos.
Click on CONFIRM DELETE to permanently delete the selected photos.

Batch Photo Upload EDIT OR DELETE INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS UNITS> UNITS> OPEN UNIT> PICTURES TAB To edit an individual photo, simply hover over the photo with your mouse and click on the red X in the top left corner.
From here, you can also click on the PENCIL ICON to edit the photo, and use the NUMBER DROPDOWN to change the order of the photo in its sequence. *** After you are done editing and saving, it is important that you click SAVE at the bottom of the PICTURES screen as well, so that you don’t lose all the work you just did.
