Who  the  Heck  Is  Glenda  David?  

My name is Glenda, I’m originally from Honduras. When I was a young girl my parents divorced and my mom and her sister left Honduras and went to Miami. Her goal was to create a better life for me and my brother and sisters. She met and married a man in the US. None of us ever met him and at age seven I was too young to understand that kind of stuff anyway. I just knew that my mom loved us and had gone to the US to build a better life for us. I didn’t know that the man she had married was an angry, vicious individual who abused my mom terribly. So terribly that she feared for her life and along with my aunt they made plans to get her out of that marriage. But, he was not willing to let her go and threatened to kill her if she left him. Back in those days no one took spousal abuse as seriously as they do now. But my mom

did succeed in leaving him. She kept her job as a waitress in restaurant in Miami where both she and her sister worked. One day as she was working… this man showed at my mom’s job, pulled out a gun and shot her nine times in front of her sister. Her dying words were “Take care of my kids”. My mom was only 28 years old when she was killed…I was seven. As you might imagine my life got off to a rocky start. I married and ultimately divorced, but I had four beautiful children who became my inspiration. They were the reason why I woke up every morning with a purpose. Admittedly, it was incredibly taxing on me and working insane amounts of hours came with some costs. You single moms out there know what I mean. For years I worked two jobs, this was just a natural thing to do. I have always worked solely to improve my family’s and my quality of life. I eventually discovered that I am a born entrepreneur. I established a home-based business in the direct-sales cosmetic industry in hopes of creating an opportunity for a better life I’m happy to say that my search for a better life is over! Now I have taken my considerable business acumen and experience online.

It took some doing, some expertise and some great coaching, but I have successfully transitioned my direct sales business over to a fully automated online business. If there was ever a person who should have been crossed off of the successful internet business list it was me. But I refused to be over looked. I refused to be overlooked for myself, I refused to be overlooked for the sake of my children and I refused to be overlooked for my mom. Who or what do you refuse to be over looked for? Here’s to your success!!!

How  To  Choose  A  Domain  Name   I went to Google AdWords and typed in weight loss. The system tells me how many searches there are on a monthly basis from people searching that specific term. But, additionally it will give me other related search terms (smaller markets) from which I can choose a market. Weight loss plan happens to be a term that is searched 165,000 times a month. If I choose this group of searchers as my target market then I might name my business something like www.myweightlossplan.com. A name like this would position my site squarely in the path of the 165,000 searches that are already occurring under that search term. So while you do want to be creative in naming your business, make sure that your name includes a search term that gives your business a targeted market aim. Get A Domain Name: There are a number of hosting companies from whom you can get a domain name that are very reasonably priced. Based on the nature of your site you have a number of anchors to choose from. The one you are most familiar with is probably .com but there is also .co, .biz. info, .org etc. Choose the one that fits your needs better.

I personally use Go Daddy as my web domain provider but there is also Hostgator and thousands others. You can search Google for domain hosting but make sure you are paying reasonable prices. No more than $13.00 for ‘.com’s or less for the other anchors for a year of hosting. As a side note it's important to remember that everything you publish online should have a target audience. Therefore, the Google AdWords keyword tool will be your best online friend. Before I publish anything on line, an article, a site, a story, whatever, I choose an audience from the key word tool first. This is how I know how to name and optimize my published asset and where to publish it. The most important decision to make before you get a domain name is choosing your target market through the keyword search process I explained above.

 

Let’s  Make  the  Most  Efficient  Use  of   Our  Time  Together;  

When you’re first starting out you only want to know one thing…how to make money online! Just the facts. So I’ll skip all the glem and glamour to get down to the niddy griddy of that. There are many ways to structure an online business model and make money online, so I'm not suggesting this is the end all structure. But this diagram should give you a basic understanding to start with. Just know that there are no magic buttons or software packages that will suddenly start generating thousands of dollars of revenue for you every day. Behind all of those programs there is an infrastructure similar to the one you’ll see illustrated here and that’s how they're doing it.

So, let’s go through each of the component parts and get more details on what they are and how to make them work. Again I want to emphasize this isn’t the time to get distracted or run off and start buying stuff. For now just stay with the text. At the end we’re going to provide you with a step by step action plan and all the links you need to put this structure together for yourself, turn it on and watch it start generating sales.

1. TRAFFIC- There are many different ways to generate traffic , both organic (free) and paid, but it suffices to say that to make money online you must have a traffic source and flow. Your traffic must be targeted traffic. What I mean by targeted is that you only want traffic, or people coming to visit your site, that have an interest in your product or service.

“Targeting” is how you place your online advertising so that it shows up only for those people who are looking for your type of product. I’m going to talk more about this as we go along so if it doesn’t quite make sense to you right now don’t worry; I’m going to clear that confusion up. So as I said above the way you generate traffic is going to be through a free method or a paid method. I tried a bunch of the free methods without any meaningful results. That I guess is the reason it’s free, because none of them worked for me. I don’t recommend them and I don’t use any of them. You can try it for yourself but it’s been a complete waste of time for me. The only free method of generating traffic to my site is through Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO Organic Traffic - So let’s take a look at how this whole traffic targeting thing works. Let’s imagine that you’re looking for information on “home based business”. So, you go to Google and in the search box you type in “home based business”. This is referred to as a search term.

Once you insert your search term you press enter and a results page comes up. You are now targeted traffic for the sites that show up on that results page. So if you look closely at the results page below…the two top entries on the results page and the entries in the right hand column are all paid advertisers. That means that the owners of the sites paid Google to have their ads show up on this results page in front of people who typed “home based business” in the Google search box. This is what I mean by targeted traffic. Only people who have an interest end up seeing your ad, this is what is referred to as pay per click (PPC) advertising. Every time someone clicks your ad for more information… Google charges you for that click. We’ll get more into that when we talk about PPC advertising. Organic entries are the entries on the results page that start just under the paid advertising. In this case

organic sites begin with the third entry on the results page and includes all the entries under it.

What happens next is that if you choose one of those entries and click it; you’ll be taken to that site. There the owner will get the opportunity to tell you about his/her program and why you should be partnering with them to create your own “home based business”. SEO is a skill all by itself and can generate 1000’s of targeted visitors to your site if you learn how to do it properly. This is a reason why coaches are invaluable,

because unless someone teaches you how SEO works… It is highly unlikely you’ll figure it out on your own. Now, I know I put a link there for coaching; Don’t You Click That Yet. I only put that there so that at the end the links are easy to find. Stay focused, you only need to know the things that’ll generate sales at the beginning.

Paid  Advertising  

You might be wondering why I’m recommending paid advertising for a newbie. That’s simple… IT WORKS. One of the first thoughts that is likely to come up in your head is “I can’t afford to pay for advertising” and now you’re going to be gripped by the fear of the whole idea and some of you are going to quit reading right now.

So before all that happens let me remind you that this ebook is free and it’s not going to cost you anything to hear me out. I thought the same thing, I was just too stubborn to quit when this OH NO! thought occurred to me. So don’t let your mind start playing those little tricks on you here. Yes I know about those too, but just finish the book… DEAL? So there are all kinds of methods of paid advertising and we’re going to cover some of the basics for the newbies. As your online income grows you’ll add more sophisticated methods. Don’t try to do all this at once. Choose the method that makes the most economic and emotional sense to you. We’re going to teach you to master that method… so, if you choose for example “facebook ppc” you’re going to go to school on facebook ppc. The training is going to take you through set up, writing you ad, turning it on and monitoring your results. After that it’s a matter of tweaking your system until you are getting the desired results… which is always SALES! So let’s get started.

Pay  Per  Click  (PPC)  

Pay Per Click (PPC) The top sites for ppc advertising are Google, Bing and Facebook. In ppc advertising you first set up an account with one or more of these sites. Then you place an ad on that site. The people who are searching on these sites are generally searching by search terms like I mentioned above. When they get a results page your ad will appear on that page. So there is an element of know-how in doing ppc advertising and each of these venues have slightly different rules of engagement. But ppc is not rocket science. You could train a lab monkey to do it and get sales.

Your mind is going to tell you that you can’t do it, you don’t know how and whatnot, everybody is different. If you let that side of your brain win that conversation… YOU LOOSE… and we’re done here. Its takes courage to do that; everything else will be taught to you. We have a teaching module called “Traffic Masters Academy” (Don’t You Click That) and the details of everything I’m going to talk about are in there. There are excellent coaches, each making six figures or higher annually, in the method they’re coaching. You’ll be a guru before you know it! Remember we are a sales organization, so naturally we’re going to be selling all the time. The difference is we only want you to buy those things that are absolutely necessary to start making sales for yourself right away… and in order to know what that is; you have to finish the book before you start clicking stuff. Resist the urge.

You  Tube  

You Tube- It might surprise you to find out that you can use YouTube videos to direct targeted traffic towards your offers. So let’s say your product is in the health and fitness niche. There are literally thousands of YouTube videos on health and fitness targeting both men and women. Although there is some set up involved that isn’t complicated at all. The idea is to get hold of the owners of health and fitness videos, who for whatever reason have a video that is going viral. There are different software packages that actually catch that video as it starts becoming popular. Your job would be to contact the owner of that video and have your offer link placed on their video. Don’t be alarmed if you don’t quite understand how this could work because your

YouTube traffic coach will walk you through it step by step.

Solo  ADS  

Solo ADS- If you can afford solo ads then do it. But, go through your training and talk to your coach first, (I’m assuming you’re going to have a coach). Solo Ads work similarly to ppc but they’re much more expensive. Solo ads are sold by people who have been online, and have built huge lists of people who have grown to trust them, and will typically buy things if they recommend them. They have dozens of marketing methods in place, having been online for years, and they sell you access to their buyer’s list. So you buy clicks off of their buyers list, they promote

your offer, and every time someone clicks to view your offer they charge you for that click. Hence, you buy a certain number of clicks from them off of their click package. A click package may be 60 clicks or 100 clicks, and you pay in advance for those clicks. They then promote your offer to their buyer’s list and once they deliver the number of clicks you purchased you’re done for that session. Yes, I’m going to teach you all the ins and outs of buying solo ads. If that’s the one that appeals to you, then go for it.

 

Organic  (Free)  Traffic  

• Search Engine Optimization (SEO)-You remember we talked earlier about SEO. Well here is where you’re going to apply that. SEO is the method you employ on your blog posts so that Google will rank your post on the first position of the first page of their results under specific search terms. We explained this earlier but if you’re a blogger and enjoy writing, this traffic method might be right up your alley. So, every time you write a post on your blog, one of your objectives is to get your post ranked on the first results page in Google.

The “O” in SEO stands for optimization which means that the post is written to optimize a particular search term. There is a strategy, by titling your post and having your search term appear in the text of your post, you’ll manage that when the Google bots see your blog they’ll pick up the search term in your post and place it on the results page somewhere under that search term. The idea (if you choose this method for generating traffic) is to become good at writing your blog posts so that they rank on page one of the Google search results. When people type in that key word on the Google search page and the results page comes up… a significant number of them will only click on the results of the first page. That’s how you can generate traffic to your blog and your offers. • Warm Market Traffic- Another method of generating traffic to your offers is targeting your warm market: friends, family and close associates. For many people one of their first thoughts is “OH NO, the last thing I got my family involved in didn’t work out so well”.

Yeah, I’ve been there too. It might interest you to know that there is an effective method for approaching or re-approaching your warm market. And, also, this traffic is free. So these are all effective methods for generating traffic towards your offer, and we will show you how to use them if you select any of them.

 

Your  One  Page  Site   Practically all online selling involves what is referred to as a “squeeze page”, “lead capture” or “opt in” page. These terms are interchangeable. You may have seen a squeeze page and not quite known what it was or what it was designed to do. Well, a squeeze page is designed for a single purpose… to exchange something of value for your prospective client’s email address.

It begins with a compelling headline, one that you think will peak your prospect’s interests. There’s an offer… in this case “a free video” and there is an “opt in”, a space that captures your prospect’s name and email address. You may set up other fields to gather other information from your prospective client but, generally speaking, “name” and “email” are enough. Once the prospect’s information is recorded they press the orange button and they are whisked away to view the video, which is located on your sales page. Here your prospect will be shown all the benefits of buying your product… product pricing, etc.

 

Link  To  Your  Thank  You  Page  

The second thing that will happen when the orange button is clicked is that your prospect will activate your “Thank You” page link and your thank you letter will be sent to your prospect’s email.

 

The  Second  Link  Your  Auto   Responder    

When your prospect enters their name and email, that information is recorded on a list managed by your auto responder company. There are a number of very good auto responder companies out there. The most popular are AWeber, Mail Chimp, Constant Contact and Get Response. Your Auto responder company is where your list is managed and you can send automated email messages to your prospects on a regular basis. The reason you need an auto responder is because your prospects may not buy your product or service on their first visit. Some people will wait and think about it for a couple of days or longer. Your auto responder company is where you set up your automated email sequence, which will follow your prospect automatically if they don’t make a

purchase on their first visit, no matter where they’re in the world… Beyond that, your auto responder company offers a whole host of other tools that allow you to manage multiple lists in different market niches.

 

Your  Database  

As I mentioned above, your database is the list or lists managed by your auto responder company. You want to make sure that your auto responder company is credible because there are certain legalities that have to be maintained. Your auto responder company is the entity that keeps pace with those changes like spamming and un-subscriptions. Automatic E-mails- One of the things that auto responder companies allow you to do is to pre-program e-mail messages that you want your new subscribers to receive, at different times, after they opt into your list. You can basically write e-mail messages that you want to automatically send to your new subscribers on specific days and times. You can schedule those messages however you choose to for the first few days or weeks.

All of this may seem overwhelming at first but I assure you... making money online is no rocket science. It does take some know-how in putting all the pieces together and that's why I recommend you all to GET COACHES! I tried to do this at the beginning without coaching; I thought I could figure it all out on my own. If that's what you're thinking you might be right, but it’s going to cost you a lot more in time, money and aggravation.

Getting  Coaching    

You may be able to do this without getting coaching, but it’s highly unlikely. It’s like trying to earn your Master’s Degree in some area without ever having stepped into a classroom; it just doesn’t happen. These days, there are many great coaching programs to

choose from. If you’ve been online for quite some time you may have heard about some of these people. Jonathan Budd Daegan Smith Mike Dillard Jason Moffett Evan Pagan David De Angelo All of these men are reputable, make several millions of dollars online, have successfully coached thousands of people and above all… can be trusted. So if they promise a “30 day money back guarantee” rest assured that they’ll honor that promise. By enrolling in coaching you become both a student of that coaching program and an affiliate. For all of the modules the coaching program uses to teach you about all the aspects of Internet marketing, you are licensed to resell and earn a commission Essentially, by learning all the curriculum of your coaching program you become qualified to sell any product on the Internet.

Even though I didn’t choose their coaching programs… I’m on all of their mailing lists, I know many of their students and coaches, and I know that they run good programs. You can Google any one of these guys; they’re very easy to find online. You’re probably wondering “well who did you go with and why”. Choose  a  program  and  stick  With  It  

Once you choose your program, be aware that you’re going to enter everybody’s list and that offers are going to come hot and heavy. Don’t fall for the… “Grass is greener… my program is better than yours” syndrome. The names of the people I gave you above all run great programs, if you choose their program, just do the work that you’re assigned and you will get through the curriculum just fine. Don’t try to mix and match systems from other programs. The only thing you’ll succeed in doing is overwhelming yourself and confusing your coaches.

 

Put  Together  a  Team  that  Meets   You  Where  You  Are  

That means don’t get talked into buying bells and whistles systems that are not what you absolutely need for where you are right now. Remember, all of these coaching programs are all effective selling systems too. The moment you sign up… that system is going to start selling everything to you and lots of newbie students end up buying stuff they don’t need at the beginning. Resist that urge and check in with your coach. Make sure your coach knows exactly • where you are financially, • what you know about the industry

• how much money you need this business to generate for you on a monthly basis and • how much time you have weekly to put in the effort. Your team should be working with you within the parameters you set.

 

Summary   So, let’s get down to the bare minimum of what you really need to make money online. You need a product and a way to drive traffic, that’s it. You don’t even need a domain name, you can start out by joining one or more of the product brokers, and joining them is free. A product broker is an online warehouse where publishers of mostly information products register their products. The warehouse connects affiliate marketers on one side to product developers on the other. By joining you gain access to sell all the products in the warehouse. Each product positions the commission associate with that product and brokers manage the transaction in between. However, you still have to know something about driving targeted traffic to an offer, which is why I always recommend you to look for coaching first.
