Gordon’s Sloe - 26% £3.50 A wonderful tipple that marries the dryness of Gordons’s with Cassis sweetness. Garnishing - 3 citruses - Lemon, Lime & Orange Cotswolds 46% £3.95 Light, floral juniper blends well with the Cotswold lavender. This soon gives way to the vibrant grapefruit peels and warming cardamon. Bombay Sapphire - 40% £3.75 Light & delicate floral gin draws on botanicals such as honeysuckle and camomile to create a gentle, silky smooth flavour with fragrant sweetness. They are lightly perfumed with juniper and subtly balanced with spice and citrus.. Garnishing - lemon & Lime Wedge Monkey 47 - 47% £4.25 Predictably complex, this is a robust and powerful gin with plenty of spice, fruit and herb flavours. It’s very well structured, and difficult to unpick but a citrus fresh start segues into pine and wood notes for a drying finish. Hendrick’s 41.4% £3.95 Bold, fragrant and unique, herbaceous gins have the most distinctive flavour profile. These gins have more unusual botanicals such as Cucumber, Rose Petal, Black Pepper & Olives Garnishing - Cucumber Langley’s 41.7% £3.75 Made in small batches using the purest 100% English Grain Spirit, Langley’s No 8 distilled London Gin is hand crafted specifically to let the selected botanicals do the talking. Opihr This Gin smells of the cocktail of spices it’s made with, especially the cardamom. Its distinct aroma is soft, rounded, complex and balanced. It tastes bright and fresh to start with, you can taste the orange and coriander. It’s slightly sweet, with a spicy heat that builds gently, before fading into a long, soft finish of cardamom and juniper. Whitley Neill Two carefully selected signature botanicals from Africa - the Cape Gooseberry and the fruit of the Baobab tree - combine for a distinctively bold taste.

Whiskies & Bourbons

Whiskies & Bourbons 25ml 50ml

Glenkinchie 12Yr £5.10 £9.50 With a grassy, floral aroma and creamy palate, the 12 Year Old has the light, fresh, highly approachable style that’s typical of this lesser known whisky region. Origins Known as the ‘Edinburgh Malt’ because of its location just 20 miles from Scotland’s capital city, Glenkinchie sits amidst rich, agricultural land in the Lowlands region. Tradition plays a huge part in whisky production, with six wooden washback stills used for fermentation and two large copper stills – among the largest in the industry. A cast iron worm tub cools the spirit instead of the more modern condenser. Lagavulin 16Yr £5.95 £10.95 With one of the longest periods of ageing for a, flagship malt, the 16 Year Old has a scent of massive peat smoke, a subtle hint of seaweed and a deep, intense sweetness. It is a classic Islay malt. Origins The miles of bog on the southern part of the island of Islay are what make Lagavulin tick. Rich, brown peaty water runs down the burn from Solan Lochs into the distillery, helping to create the basis of this delicious malt. At 16 years, the ageing process is one of the longest for any flagship whisky. As the local saying goes: “time takes out the fire but leaves in the warmth”. Oban 14Yr £5.75 £10.95 Oban is sited where the Highlands meet the islands. It’s this coming together of land and sea that brings a hint of peaty smoke; along with a salty maritime edge and delicious orange peel tang and silky finish. Origins Oban combines Western Isle peatiness with the fragrant complexity of the Highlands. The region enjoys a mild, temperate climate with soft rain and frequent mistiness brought in by the Gulf Stream from across the Atlantic, and this rugged atmosphere has found its way into the whisky, along with hints of local heather and peat. Oban is also one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland, with tiny lantern-shaped copper pot stills used to produce liquid ready for ageing. The malt is condensed slowly in wooden worm tubs that sit among the rooftops, before being transferred to oak casks. Cragganmore 12Yr £5.10 £9.50 With herbal, floral and sweet woody notes on the nose, and honey, vanilla and sandalwood flavours, the 12 Year Old is the most easydrinking version of the complex Cragganmore malts. Origins Smith specifically chose Speyside for his distillery because of the region’s reputation for producing outstanding, fruity and delicate whiskies. Two flat-topped stills that date from 1901 are still in use. These, along with traditional wooden worm tubs promote Cragganmore’s complexity. Peat from the uplands to the south, and water from the Spey also add to the uniqueness of this outstanding malt.

25ml 50ml

Talisker £5.75 £10.50 Powerful and spicy, with a peppery finish and a touch of island smoke, the award-winning malt is the only one on the Isle of Skye. Origins Although it’s the only distillery on the Isle of Skye, Talisker has a subtle peat flavour that’s the link to other island malts. And because its water has been sourced from underground springs in the neighbouring Cnoc nan Speireag hill, Talisker has a purity and freshness behind the huge spice and peppery notes. Dalwhinnie 15Yr £5.75 £10.50 Smooth and soft with a crisp, heather nose, the long ageing of this 15 Year Old whisky creates complex honey and vanilla flavours, with hints of malted bread and delicate spices. Origins Known as the ‘mountain malt’, this remote Highland whisky sits between two large ranges in the centre of the region. No other distillery may use the water from the Lochan an Doire Uaine, Gaelic for ‘Loch of the green thicket’, which lies at 2,000 feet above sea level in the Drumochter Hills. This is a classic Highlands malt, halfway between the gentle, grassy style of the Lowlands to the south, and the more austere character of Speyside just 25 miles to the north. Irish White Lavel Bushmills £3.85 £7.25 A blend of triple distilled single malt whiskey with a lighter Irish grain whiskey. Approachable with a rich‚ warming taste of fresh fruit, honey and vanilla and a crisp fresh finish with a touch of spice. Knob Creek £4.25 £8.00 Ageing for nine years in charred American white oak lends this small batch bourbon its maple sugar aroma, distinctive sweetness and rich, full-bodied flavour Bullet £4.25 £8.00 Its unique blend of rye, corn and barley malt, along with special strains of yeast make this small batch bourbon subtle and complex. High rye content leads to a bold spicy character and distinctively smooth, clean finish. Jim Beam Double Oak £3.75 £6.75 This premium, double-aged bourbon spends eight years in new charred, white oak barrels. That’s twice as long as original Jim Beam and it’s those four extra years of aging that give Jim Beam Black its full bodied flavour with smooth caramel and warm oak notes.
