DBP
Description
DBP series like a relief valve. It contains a normally closed valve element and is typically placed at the end of the fluid line. The regulator will crack open when pressures upstream reach the set pressure (adjustable), allowing excess pressure to vent from the outlet port. When pressures drop down below the set pressure again, the regulator will close.

The back pressure regulator protects compressed air devices from excessive pressure. If the pressure setpoint is exceeded, overpressure is vented into the atmosphere until the setpoint is reached again. Diaphragm back pressure regulators protect pneumatic devices against overpressure.
