COMMERCIAL CREATIVE PARTNERS

We’ve worked on numerous brands in this sector: From press advertising for Cheerios, copywriting for Jaffa Cakes, to branding South Devon Chilli Farm, Love Coconut and Wandle Brewery, LOGO has provided the marketing backbone for businesses both large and small (but growing) in the food sector.

ON THE SHELVES AT HARRODS, WAITROSE AND JOHN LEWIS Bell & Loxton

Award Winning Packaging

The Bell family of farmers saw a gap in the market for an oil with the health benefits of olive oil but with additional benefits such as being able to cook at higher temperatures. They decided to produce their own brand of premium quality rapeseed oil which would be grown, cold pressed and bottled on the farm.

Logo CCP considered a range of materials before advising that aluminium rather than a glass bottle would be lighter to transport, keep the oil in better condition and improve recycling. This was a highly innovative solution which would not only make the product stand out but give consumers many more reasons to buy.

Having perfected the oil, the next thing they needed was a powerful brand and a packaging solution.

Having selected the material, Logo CCP went on to style the bottle and create a stunning graphic scheme. This has allowed Bell & Loxton to win numerous awards including the Gold Taste of the West Award for packaging for 2014 and 15. The product was also included in the UK’s top 50 products.

Logo Commercial Creative Partners’ first step was to gain a clear understanding of the market and to develop a brand identity, quickly followed by a packaging solution. The solution is both beautiful and highly distinctive. It differentiates the product, communicates its environmental and health advantages while providing unmistakable ‘shelf shout’.

Full Marketing Support Consumer tasting sessions are an important part of the marketing mix so leaflets and an exhibition stand were designed to support this activity. Most recently, two neck labels have been designed to highlight the benefits of the product and the packaging. Product photography by Logo CCP has allowed for in-store promotion and print advertising.

Commercial Success Bell & Loxton Rapeseed Oil is now an established product on hundreds of store shelves including Waitrose and Harrods with further listings being added every day. From one great idea a substantial business now exists and the next milestone of achieving £1million turnover is not too far away. This brand story embodies the essence of the Logo CCP ethos which is to work tirelessly to drive the commercial success of our clients.

Who we are

Nick

Al

Helen

Joining The Coca-Cola Graduate programme from University meant Nick experienced the sharp end of one of the world’s most effective marketing strategies. There followed a move into the agency side of the business working first as an Account Manager for HSBC and Compaq before moving into creative roles with agencies such as BBH working on Levis and winning awards for work on The Guardian at DDB.

Al started his professional career at the cutting edge of multi-media marketing delivering solutions for ITV and their clients. Al was then snapped up by a specialist eCommerce company, ico3 where he consulted for their partners taking websites from launch to over £1m in sales in record time.

Helen cut her teeth at Sainsbury’s working as a key member of their in-house PR & marketing team. She helped deliver one of UK retail’s most powerful PR strategies into local and national media. Moving to Freud PR she was able to broaden her brand experience working with Nike, Galaxy Chocolate and Asda helping these brands to grow their business in their respective fiercely competitive markets.

Managing Director

Nick then joined Saatchi & Saatchi where he worked on Ariel, Carlsberg, Cheerios and Toyota among many other brands over the years. A final move back to the client side gave a valuable insight into the challenges clients face when buying marketing services. Nick is very much the voice of the client within LOGO, always ensuring we deliver assets that drive the commercial success of the business and ideas that go beyond the brief.
