Keep your invoice with this manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front cover. Keep the manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference.

Safety Warnings and Precautions WARNING: When using product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment. Read all instructions before using this product! 1.

Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.

Observe work area conditions. Keep work area well lit.

3.

Check for damaged parts. Before using any product, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will perform its intended function. Check for any broken or damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect its operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.

4.

Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty.

5.

Always check hardware and assembled parts after assembling. All connections should be tight and hardware tightened.

6.

Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do not let them climb on this product as it can topple. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult while in the area around the Bar Stool.

7.

Dress Properly. Non skid footwear is recommended when assembling this product. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.

8.

Use eye protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles when setting up this product.

9.

Maintain products with care. After assembly, position the Bar Stool on a level, flat surface. Do not exceed the weight capacity of 250 lbs.

10. Use the right product for the job. Do not overload or use the Bar Stool to stand upon. There are certain applications for which this product was designed. Do not modify this product and do not use this product for a purpose for which it is not intended. 11. Do not assemble the Bar Stool if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read warning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgement or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not set up the Bar Stool. 12. Glue Warning: Keep glue away from children. When not using the glue, store out of the reach of children. Warning: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.

Unpacking When unpacking the Bar Stool, check to make sure that all parts are included as shown in the parts list. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number below.

Assembly 1.

Unpack and arrange all the parts of the Bar Stool on a smooth covered surface to avoid scratches while assembling. Drop a generous amount of Glue (G) into the holes on the Side Frame (A) to securely bond the components together. See Figure 1.

NOTE: Excess glue may squeeze out of assembled joints. Use a damp shop towel or rag to clean up excess glue.

Place one of the Side Frame Holders (F) at the top of the Side Frame (A). Secure (F) with Screws (E). See Figure 1 on Page 3. Repeat steps on opposite side of Side Frame. Place one of the long Cross Bars (C) in the holes toward the bottom of the Side Frame (A). Press Cross Bar into the hole, making sure it is in contact with the glue and fits tightly. Align screw hole towards bottom of side frame or feet. Next, install a second Cross Bar (C) at the same position in the opposite leg. See Figure 2.

Place one of the short Cross Bars (D) in the hole toward the top of the Side Frame (A). Check that the Bar is secure and the glue is helping hold it in place. Use a Screw (E) to anchor each Cross Bar in the predrilled holes. See Figure 3.

Apply glue in holes in second Side Frame as in Step 1 and connect the two Side Frames (A) together, pressing the Cross Bars (C & D) into the predrilled holes in the second Side Frame. Make sure all connections are tight fitting. Use Screws (E) to anchor each Cross Bar in the predrilled holes.See Figure 4.

Turn Bar Stool upright. Apply a bead of Glue (G) along the four top sides of the Side Frame Holders (F). See Figure 5.

Place the Seat (B) face down on a smooth surface. Apply a bead of glue around the predrilled holes area. Turn the Bar Stool legs upside down and place over the underside of the Seat (B), matching up the holes. Screw in the Screws (E) through the Side Frame Holders (F) and into the Seat (B). Tighten the screws. See Figures 6 & 7. Figure 5

The Bar Stool is now assembled. Wipe away any excessive glue with a soft cloth. Make sure the rubber feet are securely attached to the bottom of each stool leg. See Figure 8.

Maintenence 1.

To remove dust, use a soft cloth and furniture polish.

2.

This product should be assembled and stored in a dry area.
