Nordic Vikings – Success in China as Beijingers Nordic Vikings, Harbin, and Qiqihar is the three Chinese Teams in Asia League Nordic Vikings was the Best Team in China last season, Won 12 straight games against Harbin and Qiqihar, was first Chinese Team to Reach Play Off and had 4 out 6 player in the Chinese Awards Last Season, Vikings Arrived in Beijing, China on September 19th 2005, Two months after the permission to participate in the AL Ice Hockey. As the Best Team in China Vikings has been well integrated in China as true Beijingers…and put Beijing on the Ice Hockey Map in Asia. Vikings who is a fully international team with roots from Nordic Region is built on players from Nordic Region, China, Russia, Japan and America Together with Chinese Partner and Owner Hosa-Sport and Mr Zhang Yuan Vikings attracted an audience record of 6000 people to our home arena, also Asia League record last season. Hosa Skating Center, New Arena was forced to be built in a month during last Season…and Includes 40 New VIP Loges this Season Vikings and Hosa has a new goal to Be “The Best Ice Hockey Club in the whole Asia” Hosa and Vikings signed a New TV Contract with Beijing TV on Live Broadcasting from 20 Home Games Next Season, gives approx 80 Million Viewers on 60 Hours TV

Vikings, Nordic Roots and Chinese Future Nordic Region has always been the home of Vikings and Ice Hockey has been developed as the Nordic Team Sport Nr 1. Vikings is the First ever Sport Team hosting Players from all Nordic Countries – Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Iceland. This was something that Vikings Owners, from Swedish and Nordic Financial Society, build on when they started the build up of Chinese Ice Hockey and their Business Connections. Nordic International Companies as Volvo, Akzo Nobel, Jofa, Law Firm Vinge, supported the Team this first year and W Sports Bar (Waldner Bar), on Sanlitun South Road 120 Chaoyang Beijing is one of the Club Houses for Vikings One of the first to help Vikings in Beijing was our Chinese Partner and Owner, Mr Zhang Yuan ( Hosa Sport ) who was connected by his interest for Ice Hockey.
