The Bachelor of Science program in Engineering Design Technology requires a minimum of 131 credits. Course sequencing may vary by semester. See your advisor.

* If you choose MAT 181 in Semester 1, you must take MAT182 in Semester 2. You will be required to take either MTH230 or MTH240 at Penn College to satisfy their Math requirement. ** If you choose MAT185 in Semester 1, you must take MAT281 in Semester 2. These two courses satisfy the math requirement at Penn College. *** Select one Social Science elective from the list of seven (7) approved electives. Although shown in the last semester, it may be taken at any time after satisfying test scores and/or prerequisites: CLT 110, ECO 122,, HIS 111, HIS 112, POL 111, PSY 121, SOC 111. # If MAT281 Taken at Delaware Tech you are not required to take MAT230 or MAT240. ##Student may take ENG122 Technical Writing and Communication at Delaware Tech during a semester/summer if interested. This course is not required for the AAS degree but will transfer to Penn College as indicated in the course sequence above.. ### Student may complete the non-calculus based Physics Track (2 courses) or the calculus based Physics track (2 courses). Only one Physics course is required at Delaware Tech. The second Physics course can be taken at Delaware Tech after graduation or during any semester after prerequisites are met, or it can be taken at Penn College. Delaware Tech non-calculus based Physics Track: PHY205 and PHY206 which are equivalent to Penn College’s PHS 115 and PHS125 Delaware Tech calculus based Physics Track: PHY281 and PHY282 which are equivalent to Penn College’s PHS201 and PHS202 #### Student may take ENG124 Oral Communications at Delaware Tech during a semester/summer if interested. This course is not required for the AAS degree but will transfer to Penn College as indicated in the course sequence above. ##### Student may take one (1) of these courses SOC221, ETH100, ETH101,CLT110 at Delaware Tech during a semester/summer if interested. This is not a requirement for the AAS degree but the course will transfer to Penn College as indicated in the course sequence above. ###### Student may take one of these courses VSC135, VSC109,VSC131,VSC132 or other approved courses at Delaware Tech during a semester/summer if interested. This is not a requirement for the AAS degree but the course will transfer to Penn College as indicated in the course sequence above.
