Message From Our Executive Director... 2015 – A Year of Wonderful Change, Growth & Celebration! PVII - Women’s Program (& PV Business Office Staff) Moved Following months of designs, plans, meetings and construction, PV proudly moved into their new women’s treatment facility on October 1, 2015. Thanks to the outstanding work of Opus - PV Business Office staff, PVII staff and PVII clients moved into a BEAUTIFUL new building. Progress Valley was so happy to give the women we serve a wonderful new place to call home. They truly deserve it. Michelle Culligan & Susanne Lambert

Richfield Facility in Midst of New Addition & Renovations

After the women’s program moved to Bloomington, Opus stepped right in and began renovating the existing site and construction of a major addition. Everything is looking fantastic and we remain on schedule for a June 1, 2016 completion. You’ll soon hear more about phase 2 of our moving plans!

Road to Recovery Breakfast What a wonderful and successful event! Staff, alumni/ae, friends, neighbors… our community came together to celebrate RECOVERY. Folks learned of substance use disorder - what it is, what it is not; facts on substance abuse/addiction and mental health; and hearts were warmed by the many personal stories shared. The overall support (both financially and emotionally) was extremely gratifying and the many comments of “I learned so much today” solidified the importance of our talking about substance abuse and mental health disorders. Helping to eliminate the stigma associated with this chronic health disorder began for many on April 23, 2015. The response from all of you in attendance was truly inspiring. On behalf of the board and staff of Progress Valley, I thank you for your continued support. Together we continue to touch lives, restore hope and build a healthier community for us all.

Karla, PV Alumnus

Serenity, Courage, Wisdom... “My journey has been challenging, especially this chapter, learning to balance motherhood, career, marriage, home-owner, daughter, friend, and active member of AA. The 12 steps, God, PV and my family have set me up for success. I've learned life is about choices, how you live with them, and the effect of them on other people. As long as I don’t use drugs or alcohol I can always choose again. I am not perfect and neither is life. It’s sticky and I have been through a lot in 8 years and have chosen not to use no matter what.”

Laura, PV Alumnus

Laura served as our guest speaker at the 2015 Road to Recovery Breakfast event.
