Congratulations to co-principal Ms.Meghan Duffy on her new principalship at Audobon Elementary School. She will be greatly missed, but we are proud of her and her new job. We wish her the best of luck on this new journey! Meanwhile, as of February 29, our year to date attendance was at a 98.4%. Congratulations to our students and parents who are working so hard to keep students healthy and attending school!! It takes all of the GSA family to reach our 2015-16 goal for attendance. Congratulations to the principal scholars! Our breakfast numbers are growing. Lastly, there was a great turn out for Coffee with the Principal this month! Annual 8th Grade Washington DC trip Eighth graders and six chaperones will be traveling by tour bus to Washington DC on March 28. The group of 46 students will see amazing sights like many of the national monuments and the Holocaust Museum. One spectacular stop will be taking a tour of the White House! As of March 3, the students were excitedly counting down the days…. “25 days left until our trip!!!!” In addition to the amazing memories and education they will take away from this trip, they also get a super cool t-shirt too.
The GSA Career Day is coming and we need your help! We are looking for parents, family members, and friends to come on May 5th to be speakers at our career day. This is a wonderful opportunity to share about your job and be a part of this exciting event. Any career and length of time is welcome. Speakers can be English or Spanish speaking. Parent Safety Patrol Volunteers Needed

Felicitaciones a la co- directora Meghan Duffy en su nueva dirección escolar en la Escuela Primaria Audobon. La vamos a extrañar mucho, pero estamos orgullosos de ella y su nuevo trabajo. Le deseamos la mejor de las suertes en este nuevo viaje! A partir del 29 de febrero hasta la fecha nuestra asistencia fue 98.4%. Felicitaciones a nuestros estudiantes y padres que están trabajando muy duro para mantener a los estudiantes sanos y asistir a la escuela !! Se necesita toda la familia GSA para alcanzar nuestra meta 2015-16 para la asistencia. Felicitaciones a los estudiantes sobresalientes que mantuvieron una A en todos sus grados! Nuestros números para el desayuno están creciendo. Por último, hubo una gran asistencia en el café con el director de este mes! Una gran cantidad de buen trabajo y la discusión se hizo con el plan para el mejoramiento escolar. ¡Gracias a todos los que asistieron. Annual 8th Grade Washington DC trip Octavo grado y seis acompañantes estarán viajando en un autobús turístico a Washington DC el 28 de marzo. El grupo de 46 estudiantes verán lugares increíbles como muchos de los monumentos nacionales y el Museo del Holocausto. Una parada espectacular va a tomar un recorrido por la Casa Blanca! A partir del 3 de marzo, los estudiantes fueron con entusiasmo contando los días .... "25 días hasta nuestro viaje !!!!" Además de los increíbles recuerdos y la educación que van a tomar distancia de este viaje, que también recibirán una camiseta estupenda.
El Día de carrera profesionales de GSA está llegando y necesitamos su ayuda! Buscamos a los padres, familiares y amigos a venir el 5 de mayo para ser oradores en nuestro día de la carrera. Esta es una maravillosa oportunidad de compartir sobre su trabajo y ser parte de este emocionante evento. Cualquier carrera y la longitud de tiempo es bienvenido.
