Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs / improvements:1) Teaching faculty is punctually engaging the classes to complete the curriculum within the prescribed time limit from the MSBTE.
2) Calendar of Events for each semester is prepared and strictly adhered to in the running of the courses while taking classes, laboratory sessions, conduction of internal assessment tests, laboratory practical tests, sending lists of marks / attendance to the MSBTE, progress letter to parents, 3 class tests.
3) Teaching faculty is invited with the culture of preparing, maintaining and updating course file containing calendar of events, syllabus, lecture notes previous exam papers, model question paper. IA test paper, assignments, result analysis and any other information regarding. Teaching faculty is promoted, encouraged and sponsored to attend Seminars, workshops related to their fields conducted by organizations for enhancing and updating their skills and knowledge of the subjects.
5) Departments have their own associations under which various lectures, seminars, workshops by experts and resource persons are conducted to present the new trends in the branches to the student community regularly. Provisions and timings are mentioned in calendar of events itself.
6) Students are given the facility to visit industries, organizations, laboratories, etc. to have the first hand experience if things related to their fields in Engineering.
7) Teaching aids, charts and modern facilities such as LCD’s, Overhead projectors are provided for effective teaching-learning process.
8) Regular student counseling, meetings are held for active involvement in the academic matters, cocurricular activities etc.

Mechanism / Norms & Procedure for democratic / good Governance.
The Principal conducts the regular meeting with Heads of the Departments every week and \decisions, implementation any procedures and polices will be made or evolved through consensus after discussions. The Principal and HOD’s conduct the departmental meetings regularly with the staff for the effective implementation of procedures, policies, etc. The Management conducts meetings with the staff twice a year as a social gathering and get together. The Governing Council members address the staff every time they meet in the institution. The Management / Principal are always accessible to staff with an open mind to discuss any matter related to the institution well being. AICTE pay scales are implemented for all staff members.
Student Feedback on Institutional Governance / faculty performance. Student feedback are collected and necessary implementation are done. Students counseling / Tutor Scheme system is implemented since the inception of the institution and any opinion of students are addressed by the counselors / teacher in consultation with HOD’s and Principal. Performance appraisal of the staff by the students is conducted regularly after the closure of classes at the end of every semester compulsorily. The performance appraisal is valued and is made known to each staff with the forms given to them so that the staff can improve and excel in their profession by the valuable feed back. Grievance

Protected The staffs are free to express any of their problems / grievances lating to academics / co curricular activities with the Heads of the Departments, Principal in the regular meetings and suitable redressed of the grievances will be immediately made by providing the required facilities. Students have free and democratic access to all the Teachers, Counselors, Heads and Principal so that nothing is hindrance in student – teacher interaction. Any grievance of a student in academic, personal problems etc. would be attended immediately by the teachers / Tutors in consultation with Heads, Warden / Chief Rector etc. so that they are provided with homely atmosphere. ● Refund of Fee : The policy of refund of the fee, in case of withdrawal , should be clearly notified . As prescribe by Director of Technical Education & Shikshan Shulk Samitee guidelines , As below. The candidate who has been provisionally admitted may cancel admission by submitting an application in duplicate , in the prescribed pro-forma –M and may request for refund of fees . The refund of fee as applicable shall be made in due course .It is made clear that such application for cancellation will be consider if and only the admission is conform by paying the prescribed tuition fee and other fees in full and by submitting the original documents . Refund shall be made after deduction of the cancellation charges as shown below. 1. In the event of a student / candidate withdrawing before the starting of the course, the wait-listed candidates should be given admission against the vacant seat. The entire fee collected from the student, after a deduction of the processing fee of not more than Rs. 1000/- ( Rs. One Thousand Only) shall be refunded and returned by the Institution to the student /candidate withdrawing from the programme. 2. Should a student leave after joining the course and if the seat consequently/falling vacant has been filled by another candidate by the last date of admission , the Institution must return the fee collected with proportionate deduction of monthly fee and proportionate hostel rent , where applicable . Note :- In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/ VJ/DT/ NT-B/ NT-C/ NT-D / OBC/ SBC who have secured a seat in Govt. or Govt. Teaching Learning process : Curricula and syllabi for each of the programmes as approved by the MSBTE. The students are evaluated judiciously on the basis of their regularity and performance in the class test and viva. The students having inadequate attendance are informed. Special consideration is given to the students involved in regular interaction with the faculty. The students are shown their answer sheets of the sessional examination and are guided to avoid mistake in the final examination. Intensive marks are allotted to the students for participating in sports etc. The students are encouraged to deliver seminars before the faculty members who evaluate their performance. Students' assessment of Faculty, System in place: Student`s feedback reports are collected and the performance is assessed from the feed back. Further, based on the feed back personal appraisal of the teachers are conducted.
