2010 Anne Arundel County

Elementary Science Fair Congratulations to all of our talented student scientists who participated in the Anne Arundel County Elementary Science Fair on May 26 and 27, 2010. The projects were exciting and each and every student, parent, teacher, and principal should be beaming with pride! We were the guests of Marley Middle School. My thanks to the principal, Mr. Kevin Buckley, the Science Department Chair, Ms. Jodi Mankoff-Byrd, the Marley Middle School students who served as ushers, and the staff of Marley Middle School for their hospitality and assistance. We especially wish to thank our principals, who created the opportunity and provided guidance for school-based science fairs at 51 schools across our district. Additionally, we thank our teachers who instructed students through the development of their projects. Finally, we thank our honored judges. The judges evaluated student work and provided feedback to student researchers. Once again, congratulations to all of our student researchers for a job well done! We look forward to your participation in the 2011 fair!
