In-Person Submission. Applicants applying for a visa to Angola must submit their applications and documents personally to the Embassy or Consulate. VisaHQ can then collect the passport and ship it back to you after the visa is issued. Proof of status. Copy of Green Card (both sides) or other proof of legal status in the US (such as copy of I-20, US visa, H1B approval notice, etc. VisaHQ cannot assist US B1/B2 visa holders at this time.) Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip (Applicant's name must be on itinerary). Yellow Fever Vaccination. A copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever. To learn more about the yellow fever vaccination or to locate a vaccination clinic, please visit the CDC's yellow fever resource page. Bank Statements. Copy of the applicant's most recent monthly bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds (at least $200 per day). The statement must clearly show the applicant's name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement. Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations (Applicant's name must be on Hotel Reservation). Business Invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Angola. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Angola, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines: • Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant). • State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Angola. • Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa). Letter of Request. A letter with a request to issue a visa addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola. Please, indicate your name, the purpose of your trip, your contact in Angola, the dates of your planned trip, and places to be visited. Applicants who reside within the Houston jurisdiction must make a personal appearance at the Angola Consulate in order to take bio-metrics. Original Visa Submission Receipt from Angolan consulate must be provided to our liaison for passport collection.

TOURIST VISA
TRANSIT VISA
- A tourist visa must be used within 60 (sixty) days of being issued. It is valid for one or two entries and allows applicant to remain in the country for a period of up to 30 (thirty) days. This visa can be renewed once for the same period of time. - The Government may establish and update, unilaterally or by mutual agreement, a list of countries whose citizens are exempt from getting entry visas for stays shorter than 90 (ninety) days. - The tourist visa does not allow its holder to establish residence in national territory nor to take par in any remunerated activity. _______________________________________ #2, 3 and 4, Article 44, Law #2/07, August 31
- A transit visa must be used within 60 (sixty) days of being issued. It allows applicant to remain in the country for a period of up to 5 days, is valid for one or two entries and cannot be renewed. - This visa can be exceptionally granted at the frontier point to the foreign traveler who is travelling but interrupts his/her trip due to the mandatory stops required by the carrier concerning transporting the individual.

ORDINARY VISA
- A short-stay visa must be used within 72 (seventy-two) hours of being issued, and it allows the foreign citizen to remain in national territory up to 7 (seven) days and it is renewable for an equal number of days. - The short-term visa does not require previous authorization from the Foreigners and Migration Services, granting of the visa is authorization enough. - The short-stay visa does not allow its holder to establish residence in national territory nor to take part in any remunerated activity. _______________________________________ #2, 3 and 54, Article 45, Law #2/07, August 31
