Neue Impulse für den Schweizer Markt – dank Innovationen und tieferer Gebühren! SIX Swiss Exchange: Frau Baudson, können Sie uns bitte Amundi ETF kurz vorstellen? Valérie Baudson: Amundi ETF ist eine Geschäftssparte von Amundi, der gemeinsamen Asset-Management-Gesellschaft von Crédit ­Agricole und Société Générale. Der Entschluss, ins Geschäft mit ETFs einzusteigen, fiel vor zwei Jahren in einem sehr angespannten Marktumfeld. 2009 konzentrierte sich unsere Strategie darauf, eine breite Palette konkurrenzfähiger Produkte zu entwickeln (mit niedrigen Verwaltungsgebühren und geringen Spreads zwischen An- und Verkaufskursen). Zuerst waren wir nur in Frankreich aktiv. Doch nach einjähriger Aufbau­ arbeit konnten wir unsere Assets under Management mehr als verdoppeln und gewannen in Europa im Eiltempo Marktanteile hinzu. 2010 will Amundi ETF vor allem ihr Europa-Geschäft ausbauen. Wir haben mit der Kotierung unserer Produkte an verschiedenen Börsenplätzen in ganz Europa begonnen. Unser Eintritt in den Schweizer Markt ist ein weiterer wichtiger Schritt in der Entwicklungsstrategie von Amundi ETF. Er wird uns helfen, unser ehr­ geiziges Ziel zu erreichen: Bis 2012 wollen wir nämlich zu den fünf grössten Asset-Managern in Europa gehören und mehr als EUR 10 Mrd. verwalten.

Kürzlich haben Sie an der SIX Swiss Exchange 14 ETFs kotiert. Insgesamt umfasst Ihre Palette 79 Produkte. Was gab den Ausschlag für Ihre Auswahl? Unser Eintritt in den Schweizer Markt, der zu den konkurrenzfähigsten in Europa zählt, ist eine zentrale Phase in unserer Entwicklungsstrategie. Wir verfügen über einen breiten Produktemix. Die Produkte, die wir an den einzelnen Börsen in Europa auflegen, können je nach Anlegernachfrage und Marktpotenzial von Land zu Land variieren. Die 14 an der SIX Swiss Exchange kotierten ETFs zeichnen sich durch konkurrenzfähige Verwaltungsgebühren – im Schnitt 20% ­tiefer als jene der Mitbewerber – aus, und sieben davon sind sogar absolute Neuheiten. Der AMUNDI ETF MSCI EUROPE EX SWITZERLAND zum Beispiel eignet sich besonders für Schweizer Anleger, die in den MSCI ­Europe mit Ausnahme ihres Heimatmarktes investieren möchten. Im festverzinslichen Bereich wollen wir Schweizer Anlegern leichten Zugang zu Staatsanleihen der Eurozone (alle Laufzeiten) und Euro-Unternehmensanleihen bieten. Valérie Baudson, Managing Director, Amundi ETF Valérie Baudson ist seit ­Dezember 2007 als Managing Director bei Amundi ETF tätig. Von 2004 bis 2007 war Valérie Baudson Marketingverantwortliche und Mitglied des ­European Management ­Committee von Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux, einer europäischen Tochtergesellschaft der Crédit Agricole Gruppe, die auf den Effektenhandel spezialisiert ist. Zwischen 2001 und 2004 fungierte sie als Corporate Secretary und war Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung. Ihre Arbeit bei Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux nahm sie 1999 als Projektleiterin für das Senior Management Team auf. Ihre berufliche Laufbahn begann Valérie Baudson bei der Banque Indosuez, wo sie von 1995 bis 1999 für den Bereich internationale Wirtschafts­ prüfung zuständig war. Valérie Baudson verfügt über einen Abschluss der HEC (Haute Ecole de Commerce, Paris), wo sie im Hauptfach Finanzwesen studierte.

delt es sich um UCITS-III-Fonds in US-Dollar aus der S&P Goldman Sachs Commodity Indexfamilie. Durch diese Instrumente erhalten Anleger die Möglichkeit, sich über einen Korb aus Agrar- (Baumwolle, Kaffee, Kakao, Getreide, Sojabohnen, Weizen, Zucker) und Industrierohstoffen, Edelmetallen und Titeln energienaher oder -fremder Bereiche entsprechend zu engagieren. Auf diese ersten Kotierungen werden in den kommenden Wochen weitere folgen. Bis Ende Jahr können Schweizer Investoren aus 40 Amundi ETF-Fonds auswählen.

Bei der Produktqualität legen wir grossen Wert auf die Strukturierung und Bewirtschaftung unserer ETFs. Dank einer swapbasierten Indexnachbildung minimieren wir den Tracking Error, da wir nicht die Kosten für den Kauf aller Indexkomponenten tragen. Zudem profitieren unsere Produkte von den erstklassigen Ratings von Crédit Agricole (Aktien- und Rohstoff-ETFs) und Société Générale (Anleihen-ETFs). Die ETF-Palette von Amundi beruht auf drei Kerngrundsätzen: Kosteneffizienz, Produktqualität und Innovation. Insgesamt liegt die Total Expense Ratio (TER) der Amundi ETFs bei gleichwertigen Positionen 20% unter dem Durchschnitt unserer Mitbewerber. Neben den Verwaltungsgebühren achten wir auf besonders geringe Spreads zwischen den An- und Verkaufskursen unserer Market Maker und bieten somit die bestmögliche Kostenstruktur.

Die vom Markt für börsengehandelte Fonds verwalteten Vermögen sind in den letzten Jahren stark gewachsen – selbst im Jahr 2008, als besonders schwierige Marktbedingungen herrschten und die globale Anlagefondsbranche unter einer Rückgabeflut litt. Welcome Amundi Mit Amundi Investment Solutions begrüssen wir einen neuen ETF-Anbieter an SIX Swiss Exchange. Amundi Investment Solutions ist eine unter anderem auf Exchange Traded Funds spezialisierte 100%ige Tochtergesellschaft der Amundi Gruppe, welche aus der Zusammenführung der Asset-Management-Einheiten von zwei französischen Finanzinstituten entstand: Crédit Agricole und Société Générale. An SIX Swiss Exchange wurden per 13. 4. 2010 zehn Amundi ETFs kotiert, wovon acht auf Aktien-Basiswerte lauten und zwei auf Obligationen-Basiswerte. Weitere Informationen zu Amundi finden Sie hier.

Facts and Figures Der Gesamtumsatz des ETF-Segments an SIX Swiss Exchange für das 1.  Quartal im Jahr 2010 beträgt CHF 16’720 Millionen. Dies entspricht einer Wachstumsrate von 69,9% im Vergleich zum Vorjahr 2009. Per Ende März des Jahres 2010 sind an SIX Swiss Exchange 321 ETFs von elf Produktanbietern kotiert. Dies entspricht einer Zunahme von 46 Produkten. 16 Market Maker stellen Liquidität zur Verfügung. * Gewisse fungible ETFs (gleiche ISIN) sind in mehreren Währungen handelbar. Veranstaltungen Exchange Traded Product Days in Genf und Zürich Nach den grossen Erfolgen der Exchange Traded Product Days in den vergangenen Jahren veranstalten SIX Swiss Exchange und Scoach zwei weitere Events im Frühling 2010 in Genf und Zürich. Erneut stiessen die ETPDs auf grosses Interesse bei interessierten Anlegern, was sich in den Teilnehmerzahlen widerspiegelt. Über 400 Investoren besuchten den ETPD in Zürich und Genf. An den Veranstaltungen referierten ausgewählte Vertreter der Finanzbranche in Fachvorträgen über aktuelles Marktwissen im Bezug auf Exchange Traded Funds und Strukturierte Produkte. Das Ziel war professionellen Investoren ein Forum zu bieten an dem sie sich über aktuelle Produktinnovationen und Anlagethemen informieren können. Sehr geschätzt wurde der mit ausgewiesenen Experten besetzen Economic Roundtables, der eine hervorragende Plattform für die Anwesenden bot, um auch Fragen an die Fachpersonen zu stellen. Nach dem Erfolg der Exchange Traded Product Days im Jahr Frühling 2010 veranstalten SIX Swiss Exchange und Scoach noch einmal im Herbst Anlässe in Genf und Lugano. FONDS’10 Vom 2.–5. Februar 2010 fand zum zwölften Mal die jährliche Fondsmesse im Kongresshaus in Zürich statt. Während diesen erfolgreichen Tagen besuchten 8400 Leute die Messe. 2100 professionelle Anleger und vermögende Privatkunden besuchten am 3. Februar 2010 den in diesem Jahr zum zweiten Mal durchgeführten «Tag der Fachbesucher». Das von den Messeveranstaltern lancierte Kompaktmodul «FinanzFITamine – Anlagewissen kompakt» erlebte am letzten Messetag in drei Durchläufen einen gelungen Start. Roberto Lopez, Head Member Education, war aktiv in diesem Modul mit einem Fachvortrag vertreten. Auch das ETF Produktmanagement von SIX Swiss Exchange hatte wieder einen Stand aufgebaut welcher rege besucht wurde.

XENIX® INVESTOR CONFERENCE 2010

INSIDE ETFs – EUROPE CONFERENCE

Am 16. und 17. Februar 2010 fand in Berlin die XENIX Investor Conference 2010 für institutionelle Investoren statt. Vor einem Fachpublikum wurde die ­komplette Wertschöpfungskette der institutionellen Kapitalanlage aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven beleuchtet. Alain Picard, Head of Product Sales ETFs, war mit einem Referat an der XENIX vertreten.

Inside ETFs fand im April 2010 in Amsterdam statt. Die Veranstaltung richtete sich an ein Publikum von institutionellen Anlegern und Beratern. An der Konferenz wurden die wichtigsten Themen über die Nutzung von ETFs, die Portefeuille-Konstruktion und die wichtigsten Bereiche des Handels-, Liquiditäts- und Fonds-Struktur behandelt. SIX Swiss Exchange war mit einem Stand vertreten.

Anhang Was sind Exchange Traded Funds? Exchange Traded Funds (Abkürzung: ETFs) sind börsenkotierte Fonds ohne Laufzeitbegrenzung, die während den Börsenhandelszeiten fortlaufend gehandelt werden. In den meisten Fällen ist es das Ziel eines ETF, einen bestimmten Index 1:1 abzubilden und den ETF-Investoren das exakt selbe Risiko-/Renditeprofil zu offerieren wie der zugrundeliegende Basiswert. ETFs gehören in die Welt der passiven Kapitalanlagen und werden ohne Ausgabe- resp. Rücknahmeaufschlag im Sekundärmarkt gehandelt. Sie stellen ein flexibles und liquides Anlageinstrument dar und verknüpfen die Vorteile von klassischen Anlagefonds mit denen von Aktien – und das zu preiswerten Konditionen. Aus rechtlicher Sicht sind ETFs ein Sondervermögen, welches im Insolvenzfall des Emittenten von der Konkursmasse separiert wird und somit keinem Gegenparteirisiko ausgesetzt ist.
