Dear Friends, After 12 successful editions the Organizing Committee of the Amsterdam Swim Cup has decided to call it a day. We are grateful for their efforts of the past years. The Royal Dutch Swimming Federation are organizing in association with Swimming club De Dolfijn a World Championships Qualifier on the dates that were reserved for the Amsterdam Swim Cup, one week after the World Short Course Championships in Windsor, Canada. Location of this event is: Sloterparkbad Amsterdam. The kick off for the long course season, and start of the preparation for Budapest 2017. Good luck with the preparations! provisions:  All events will be swum in the open category of men and women.  The fastest three or two (400 freestyle) heats of each event will be swum before the slowest heats of all events.  Electronic timing will be used.  Swimmers with disabilities will swim in the regular program, based on their entry times.  800 meters freestyle men: timed final in the morning.  1500 meters freestyle women: timed final in the morning  400 Individual Medley, 800 freestyle women and 1.500 freestyle men: timed final in the afternoon, slower heats in the morning.  All distances from 50 to 200 meters have an A and B final.  The eight fastest swimmers from the heats will qualify for the A-finals.  The B-finals are for Dutch only.  The race is conducted under FINA 2016 rules.  The three fastest heats of all distances from 50 meters to 200 meters will be Olympic seeded.  At the 400 freestyle, the fastest TWO heats will be seeded Olympic.  All other heats will be seeded on time. Standard times Click the website to download the English version of the standard times that have to be met. Standard times can be achieved on long course only as from June 1, 2015 to Sunday November 27, 2016. Times are only accepted if they are controllable via swimrankings.net. Cancellation to the finals can only been made up to 30 minutes after the announcement of the final format. The 16 fastest swimmers and two reserves are called to the A and B finals. Cancellations that are made later and / or not adhering to qualifying for the finals will fined accordance with the regulations KNZB In the case of cancellations the next fastest swimmer will be called. up to number 24 (12 at IPC finals). Therefore, swimmers till the 24th place in the heats, should report if they don’t want to swim. During the competition, there is a separate warm up and cool-down pool for the participants (6 lane 25 meter pool).

Amsterdam Swim Meet 16 – 18 DEC 2016 The organization reserves the right to refuse, to allow participants and / or to adapt the provisions if the circumstances require it. Finals Paralympic events are for the eight best swimmers / swimmers based IPC points. With less than three participants, there will be no final but the times that have been swum in the heats will noted down as the outcome. Entries • Registrations must be received latest on Monday, November 28th, 2016 at [email protected] • The registered time must be the fastest long course time in the qualifying period. • To control the times, the date and venue of the competition must be specified on the registration. • When registering a swimmer with a disability the disability code should be conducted in the . You can make your registration complete, by adding your contact info via Splash Team Manager, for which a separate manual on the KNZB website is available. You can request the number of team leader cards in the registration email to the office. You should mention the subject in the mail "Entry ASM2016" + the name of your association. • When registering via email, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt. However, only when receiving a personal message from the organizing committee, your entries are confirmed by the KNZB.

Amsterdam Swim Meet 16 – 18 DEC 2016 Ineligible, incomplete or late registrations • Under unwarranted registration means: - times that do not fully correspond to the times in the report. - times that do not match the fastest time on the relevant number in the limit period. - times swum in competitions, of which no record is received at the KNZB. • For all unauthorized entries, an administrative fee will be charged (see price list). • For incomplete or incorrect entries, which are not corrected for the closure of the registration period and for applications received after the close of the registration period, an administrative fee will be charged (see price list). Cancellations can be made until 24 hours before the first day of the contest at [email protected] cancellations will be done later, will be fined. Entry fees and payment • The registration fee for the Event is 10,00 per individual entries. Per team-official an amount of 10,50 is due for start lists of each session. • The amounts due (including any administrative fees) can be paid in advance via bank transfer or cash (bank card) on site. In the envelope with the cards the program booklet and start lists will be included. The number of program booklets and start lists will be equal to the number of requested team manager cards. • On presentation of this program book the team leader can pick a new start list of each session. • • The number of tickets per team managers association is as follows: 1 t / m 5 participants 6 t / m 10 participants 11 t / m 20 participants 21/30 participants 31 and more participants

• Participants and team leader cards are strictly personal. When abuse is taken, the card will be only provided after first paying the price for public passe-partout again. • Extra team leader cards can be ordered for up to one week prior to the event by mail via [email protected]. The price for this additional card is equal to that of a passe-partout for adults (presale). • Clubs with 1 to 5 IPC athletes can request for 1 extra team leader card. Clubs with 6 or more IPC athletes are entitled to two extra cards. Tickets cost €1,00 less in advance, so we recommend you to purchase them online.
