ABT accepts the client’s instructions and account statements will be provided on a regular basis. Accounts can be accessed through our electronic banking.

ON-LINE ACCESS AND SECURITY Amicorp Bank and Trust offers a state-of-the-art banking software platform that gives our clients round the clock on-line access. Through this secure channel, clients and third parties can give instructions to ABT’s team and can also obtain viewing rights for their accounts. ABT offers seamless straight through processing services and real time custody account management. Our IT platform is based on one of the industry’s leading core banking systems provided by Oracle – this means that all core activities of ABT are managed by top-of-the-line industry standard software, so our standard processes, reconciliation processes and reporting is of a very high quality. For maintaining a high level of security we have built in the following features: • •

Access to the client’s account is granted using a client ID and IPIN (internet banking password) that is privy to the client. The IPIN is randomly generated by the system and is not accessible by anyone other than the client; A major feature of the security arrangement is the access through a secure web page that encrypts the session between the client’s computer and the web page using 128-bit encryption. The web page is identified by means of a digital certificate provided by Verisign to ensure its customer that they are on the correct site and to protect them from revealing their confidential account details on illicit websites; You can use the feature of virtual keyboard while logging into your account; We have skilled people and competent service providers who monitor the security of the system round the clock; ABT has best practices for business continuity and redundancy (with Swiss-based servers) in place.

ABT itself does not provide investment advice. F O R E I G N EXCHANGE AND HEDGING SOLUTIONS ABT can assist and execute any hedging instruments and help design tailored solutions as required. Amicorp Bank and Trust is licensed to offer trust management services and to act as trustee for international Barbados Trusts.

Amicorp Bank and Trust is an integral part of the Financial Services Unit of Amicorp Group. Incorporated in Barbados as an international bank and regulated and fully licensed by the Central Bank of Barbados, we obtained our license from the Barbados Minister of Finance in May 2009.

We are also able to establish and administer trusts in a number of jurisdictions worldwide as part of Amicorp Trust Unit Services. Amicorp Group can also facilitate the process of incorporating a company, or establishing a partnership or foundation.

INTRODUCTION TO BARBADOS Barbados is an important jurisdiction in international cross-border structuring - a Caribbean jurisdiction on the OECD white list that offers highly attractive international tax planning benefits. Barbados has one of the most prudently developed regulatory and tax systems, whilst continuing to allow a flexible framework of favorable corporate taxation to operate. Barbados was able to achieve such a wide treaty network and to avoid being marked as a tax haven by the OECD because of its tax and treaty policy of including exchange of information provisions as well as an overall policy of transparency that runs throughout its local and international taxation regime. Such policies and practices put it ahead of many other jurisdictions that relied on secrecy in order to be more competitive in attracting overseas investment.
