Program Goals for this Year Here at All Saints Church we provide opportunities for all regardless of age or circumstance, to enrich their faith. Catechesis is a lifelong process; the seed is planted by God, nurtured by the family, and strengthened by the church.

La Reunión General de Padres será el Domingo 19 de Octubre del 2014 a las 10:00 de la mañana en la Iglesia. Por lo menos la asistencia de un padre es requerida.

Policy for Students who are in need of Sacraments: Parents of students preparing for the sacraments are required to participate in the preparation provided by the parish. The preparation for the sacraments is ongoing, and students are expected to attend classes before and after they have received their Sacraments. For students who are six years of age or below, Baptism may be administered by the priest or deacon upon the request of the parents with instructions given to the parents at session before the Sacrament is administered. Students should be enrolled in the grade that they are presently in school. For students who are seven years of age through and including High School; Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion will be administered at Easter Vigil as part of the R.C.I.A. These students should be enrolled in Faith Formation classes in the grade they attend in regular school for a period of two years before they receive the Sacraments. The decision to permit these students to receive the Sacraments will be made by the Pastor, Teacher and CCD coordinator at the appropriate time. During their preparation periods, special Sacramental catechesis will be given in addition to their regular Faith Formation classes. In the case of a high school student, he/she will attend a special high school class provided by the parish. For all students, Faith Formation classes are offered from 1st grade through high school. Students are expected to attend class each year whether they are receiving a sacrament that year or not. Regular attendance at Mass and regular reception of the Sacraments must be priority for all Catholics. Registration and Fee All parishioners of All Saints Church are invited and urged to participate in the Faith Formation program. All new registrants are asked to call the parish office and make arrangements to register. A copy of the child’s Baptismal Certificate and other sacramental certificate are required at registration time. A fee is charged to cover some of the expenses involved with the program and is payable at registration time.

Attendance Regular attendance at all Faith Formation classes is required. Students must be on time and ready to begin classes at the appointed time and must remain in class for the entire class time. Students who are late should report to the coordinator before entering the classroom. Parents must call or talk to the teacher if a child is absent due to illness or other emergency. A note must be written to the catechist by the parent following a student’s absent explaining the reason for the absence. A student who has missed 4 classes in one year without a legitimate reason may not be promoted to the sacrament or to the next grade.

Homework and Assignments Homework is mandatory and must be completed when assigned by the catechist. Each catechist will explain to his/her students what is expected for homework and how the homework will be collected or checked. Please assist your child with his/her homework, but do not complete it for him/her. Homework will be given to each grade level according to the student’s level of ability to complete the assignment. This homework is essential for carryover experience from one week to the next. Please be certain to check your child’s homework. Holy Mass and Sacraments Every Catholic is required to attend mass each and every Sunday and Holy days of obligation. Mass is celebrated before and after your child’s faith formation class each week in both churches. Consult the parish bulletin for more information and for mass and sacraments times. Please set a good example for your child, and plan to attend as a family each week and on holy days. Regular attendance at confession and the other sacraments also sets a good example. Students learn best by regular examples.

Debido al límite del tiempo en la clase, se espera que los estudiantes usen el baño antes o después de la clase. Estudiantes deben de mantener el baño limpio. Promoción Todos estudiantes deben participar y asistir en un mínimo de 80% de la clase programada cada año para cumplir con los requisitos de promoción. Reunion de Padres Les insistimos a los padres que se envuelva más en la formación religiosa de sus hijos. Notas para las reuniones estarán en el boletín seminal de la parroquia. Student Discipline Students enrolled in the Religious Education Program at All Saints Church are expected to obey these regulations. Cooperation is expected and anticipated.

We are here to help students grow in their faith. Discipline problems create a difficult situation for all concerned. Good and positive behavior is expected from all students at all times. Specific problems will be dealt with by the classroom teachers first. If no improvement is made, the Director of Religious Formation will become involved, along with the parents. Attend Mass each Sunday and on Holy days of obligation. Follow the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes and the Precepts of the church Respect all people, adults as well as your classmates and cooperate with each other.

Realizar horas de servicios para la comunidad parroquial y también para la casa. Pasar un examen escrito y un examen oral Escoger patrocinador (debe de ser católico activo)

Se necesita una copia de la fe de bautizo y otros documentos sacramentales a la hora de la registración. Se cobrara una cantidad para cubrir gastos que tienen que ver con el programa cuando sean registrados. Asistencia La asistencia regular a las clases de formación de la fe es mandatario. Los estudiantes deben de llegar a tiempo y comenzar la clase al inicio y estar presente hasta que termine la clase. Los estudiantes que lleguen tarde deben de reportarse con el coordinador antes de entrar al salón de clase. Los padres deben de llamar al coordinador si su hijo(a) está ausente por el motivo de enfermedad o de otra emergencia. Deben de escribir una nota al catequista explicando el motivo de la ausencia. Un estudiante que haya perdido más de 4 clases en un año sin una excusa legítima no podrá ser promovido al próximo curso. Tareas Sugerimos dar tareas a los niños y deben ser completadas cuando el catequista lo asigne. Cada catequista le explicara a los estudiantes que es lo que se espera de cada estudiante y como las tareas serán revisadas y cuando tienen que entregarlas. Toda tarea será dada a cada nivel de grado según su nivel de habilidad para completar su asignación. Por favor de chequear la tarea de su hijo/a.

Timely Pick-up Parents must pick up students at 12:30 (after the mass) unless they went to the 9:00am Mass. There will be no pick –up once the mass starts, the children will stay with the teacher. Use of Lavatory Facilities Due to the limited class time, students are expected to use the lavatory before class begins or after it ends. Students must keep the bathroom clean and neat.

Promotion All students are required to attend and participate in a minimum of 80% of the scheduled classes each year in order to meet the promotion requirements. Parent Meeting Parents are urged to become involved in their child’s formal Religious Notices for upcoming meetings are made in the weekly parish bulletin

Misa y Sacramentos Es requerido que cada católico asista a la misa del domingo. La misa se celebra antes y después de la clase de formación de fe cada domingo en ambas iglesias. Consulte el boletín de la parroquia para más información y para el horario de misa y sacramentos. Por favor de dar un buen ejemplo para que su niño venga a la misa con su familia cada domingo y días festivos. La asistencia regular a la confesión y los otros sacramentos también es buen ejemplo. Estamos aquí para ayudar a los estudiantes crecer en su fe, problemas disciplinaria crea una situación difícil para todos preocupados. Comportamiento bueno y positivo se espera de todos los estudiantes a todo tiempo. Problemas específicos será tratado con la maestra de la clase primero. Si la situación no mejora, la directora de formación de fe estará involucrada junto a los padres. Toda oportunidad se le dará al estudiante para mejorar su comportamiento. Si no hay mejoría, el estudiante no podrá quedar ase dentro de la clase.

Meta de Programa para este año Aquí en la parroquia Todos los Santos les damos la oportunidad a todos a pesar de su edad o circunstancia para enriquecer su fe. Catecismo es un proceso de toda la vida, Dios siembra la semilla, alimentada por la familia y fortalecida por la iglesia.

If there is any closing for the future due to weather or an event we will let you know. Report Cards will be distributed on January 11th 2015 and on June 7th 2015 last day of school. General Parents meeting will be on October 19, 2014 at 10:00am in the church. At least one parent must attend.

Los padres de los estudiantes que se preparan para los sacramentos están requeridos a participar en la preparación que provee la parroquia. La preparación para los sacramentos es continua y los estudiantes tienen que asistir a las clases antes y después de recibir los sacramentos. Para estudiantes que tienen seis años o menos, el bautismo puede ser administrado por el sacerdote o el diacono si los padres lo solicitan con instrucciones dadas a los padres en sesiones antes que se del sacramento. Los estudiantes deben de estar registrados en el programa de catequesis en el grado en que estén en la escuela. Para estudiantes que tienen siete años o más hasta la escuela superior, bautizo, confirmación, y primera comunión serán administradas en la vigilia pascual como parte de R.I.C.A. Estos estudiantes deben de estar en la clase de formación de la fe de acuerdo al grado que este asistiendo en la escuela por un periodo de dos años antes de poder recibir los sacramentos. La decisión de permitir que estos estudiantes reciban los sacramentos será hecha por el pastor en el momento adecuado. Durante este periodo de preparación, una catequesis especial de sacramentos será ofrecida además de la clase regular de formación de la fe. En caso de que un estudiante sea de escuela superior, el o ella atenderá a un programa especial de educación superior que la parroquia proveerá. Para todos los estudiantes, las clases de formación de la fe son ofrecidas desde kindergarten hasta escuela superior. Los estudiantes deben de asistir a clase cada año sea que vayan a recibir los sacramentos ese año o no. Se requiere asistencia regular a la misa. Recibir los sacramentos debe de ser una prioridad para todos los católicos. Registro y Cuota Todos los feligreses de la iglesia de Todos los Santos están invitados a participar en el programa de formación de la fe. Las personas que sean nuevas en el progra-

ma deben de llamar a la oficina de la parroquia y registrarse.
