Mr. Brian Suddendorf Middle School Science Teacher Family members: My wife Jill; my sons Kellan and Gavin and daughter Kenzie What do you do in your spare time? I spend time with my family and doing items on my “Honey –do” list. I also spend a lot of time grilling. I have a very big grill and I grill a lot of BBQ including brisket, chicken, turkey, smoked pulled pork, vegetables… everything. If it can be cooked on a stove or oven it must be better grilled. When you were a child, what was your favorite T.V. show? Watching the Cincinnati Reds (or listening to them on the transistor radio). Miami Vice was also a fun show I remember watching along with MASH. What is one of the most profound lessons you have learned? Always try your best and be respectful. Doesn’t matter what you are doing or whom you are doing it with because when everyone knows you are doing your best and did it with respect, they appreciate all that you have done. When you were a child, what did you want to grow up to be? A millionaire. I promised my parents I would build them a bigger kitchen. What was the name of your favorite teacher? Mr. Hamm (Latin) and Mr. Meinking (wrestling coach). They both have an amazing energy in the classroom and a passion for learning. I still rely on what I learned from them each day. At home, it was my dad. He taught middle school science for 26 years. I still remember learning from him and still call on him for his sage advice.

CHURCH MINISTRIES

Rejoice and celebrate! All Saints Catholic Community was officially established as a parish of the Diocese of Dallas by The Bishop, Most Reverend Thomas Tschoepe on March 26, 1976. Reverend Raphael Kamel was appointed the Pastor. There were 390 families when the parish officially began in 1976. The parish was named “All Saints” by its members during a Town Hall meeting led by Fr. Kamel. We will begin our 40th Anniversary celebration at the Easter Vigil; 8:15pm, Saturday, March 26, 2016. Fr. Tony will bless a special 40th Anniversary Commemorative Stone that will be incorporated into the Easter Vigil fire pit. At a later date, the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Stone will be moved to a permanent location within our Church courtyard. In celebration of our 40th Anniversary, we are introducing our new Parish logo, a Jerusalem Cross in gold tone containing the initials A, S, C, C (All Saints Catholic Community). Throughout this anniversary year, you will see this logo displayed with our 40th Anniversary theme—“40 Years of Faith, Family & Fellowship”. Continue to watch the All Saints bulletin and website for more information regarding our 40th Anniversary celebrations. If you would like to become involved with the planning and production of our 40th Anniversary festivities, please contact Kathy McDermott at [email protected].
