Poznan is easily accessible from Warsaw central station (Warszawa Centralna) and Berlin (Berlin Ostbahnhof). There are several services every day, average travel time 2hrs50 minutes (Warsaw-Poznan) on a fast direct train. Poznan is half way between Warsaw and Berlin, the travel time to Berlin is usually slightly longer due to border crossing.
Warsaw airport (http://www.lotnisko-chopina.pl) is located approximately 8 kilometers from the train station. There is a direct bus connection to the station from the airport (Bus no. 175, cost approximately 1 Euro, travel time 20-30 minutes). The single (one way) ticket from Warsaw to Poznan costs approximately 40 Euros for Eurocity and Intercity trains. There are also cheaper but less comfortable trains TLK.
