Transportation Läkarhuset Odenplan is situated in central Stockholm, in the Vasastan district just by the main hub Odenplan. It is easily accessible by both subway and bus.
Address: Läkarhuset Odengatan 69 113 22 Stockholm
Directions From Arlanda International Airport (ARN): Busses and trains leave regularly to Stockholm City. Taxis are available outside the airport and can be booked in advanced. It takes approximately 20min with speed train (Arlanda Express), 35min with regular train and 45min by bus, depending on traffic. From Stockholm City Terminal: From the main train station you can either take the metro (green line west-bound, metro-stop Odenplan) or walk (approximately 15-20min).
About the location Stockholm, Sweden’s capital city, spreads out over 14 islands in Lake Mälaren and looks out proudly to the Baltic Sea to the east. Her grand public buildings, palaces, rich cultural history and museums tell her 700 year-old history beautifully. Vasa City - the English translation of Vasastaden from the Swedish - is a district in central Stockholm. Vasastaden is the most densely populated of Stockholm's neighborhoods and districts and has a thriving arts, restaurant and nightlife scene. Indeed, Vasastaden, or Vasastan, is the hip district of an already hip city. For anyone
planning a holiday to Stockholm, Vasastan is certainly one of the trendiest districts to rent a holiday apartment to base from and explore. It is the upcoming district for vintage and contemporary art and people who are looking for small antique stores and intimate independent boutiques or want to drink and dine in a district with the locals, should make a beeline for Vasastan.
Clothing and Other Equipment The average temperature for this area in October ranges from an average low of -2ºC to an average high of 15ºC. The course will be held rain or shine, so participants should bring raingear and warmer layers to account for unexpected cold or precipitation. Hats and sunscreen are recommended for sun protection.
