Activation Key usage and Windows 10 Professional installation guide

Please start from page 15 when you already have an unactivated Windows 10 Professional. Otherwise please start from the beginning of the document.

Please notice; in order to download Windows 10 Professional from Microsoft Download Portal, you will need a retail key. With an activation key, it is not possible to download operation system files from Microsoft. An activation key comes mostly with hardware and installation DVD, and therefore it is not eligible for online system downloads. Our keys only work with Windows 10 Professional. How to download an installation medium? In case you do not have a Windows 8.1 Pro installation medium, please download it on Microsoft download portal: h$ps://www.microso0.com/en-us/so0ware-download/windows10ISO

Upon opening the website please scroll down the page to the ”Select edition” section. Please select Windows 10 and click on ”Confirm”.

After that, please select the product language and click on ”Confirm”.

After selecting the product language you will be presented with the download links to the installation media for both 32 bit version and 64 bit version. You can click either of them to start downloading.

After the download finishes, you will find an iso file in your download folder.

How to create a bootable USB memory stick? We will copy this ISO file onto a USB memory stick to be able to use it as a startup medium. For creating a bootable USB memory stick, please download the following tool:

Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool ( http://wudt.codeplex.com )

After downloading the tool please install it. After installation you will find the Windows USB/DVD download tool in your start menu. Please open it. You will be welcomed by this screen:

Please click Browse to choose the ISO file you’ve downloaded in the previous step. In the next screen we will choose the media type. Please select USB. (You can select DVD too, if you want to install Windows using a DVD player. The guide will still help you with the remaining steps.)

! Please insert your USB memory stick and select it in the following screen. Please make sure you have selected the right drive. We will delete the contents of the chosen drive.

! After selecting your USB memory stick please click on Begin copying to start the creation of your bootable Windows 10 Professional installation media.

! After your bootable USB device is created, please exit this tool and restart your computer. Please make a backup of any important files on your hard drive. We will install a new operating system; this will delete everything.

Alternative way to create a bootable installation media In case you need to install .Net Framework and can’t find it where to install you can use the following alternative way to create a bootable installation media. Please download and install the software Rufus by clicking the following link. https://www.cheapercodes.com/rufus-2.11.exe After you’ve installed Rufus, please insert your USB flash disk into a USB port and start Rufus. Following screen will welcome you. Please make sure that your USB flash disk is selected in the device section. Please note that this software will wipe the entire disk selected in the device section, therefore please make sure that your USB flash disk is selected and NOT your hard disk.

Please click on the dropdown box shown on screen to select ISO Image

Now click on the button shown on screen to select the downloaded ISO file.

After you’ve selected the downloaded iso please make sure that ”Standard Windows installation” selected, and then click on Start.

Now confirm that you want to overwrite the disk. Please make sure the selected disk is your USB flash disk.

It will take some Gme to create the bootable installaGon media. A0er it is finished please click on Close to close the so0ware. You can now use the USB flash disk and proceed with the installaGon.

How to select your USB memory stick as Boot disc? Please restart your computer after you made sure you have a copy of all your important files. At the BIOS boot screen (you will see Press F12 to Choose Boot Device or a similar text on your screen) please choose your USB memory stick as boot medium.

After selecting the right USB flash disc as your boot disc, please save your BIOS preferences and restart your computer.

How to install Windows and enter your activation key? Your computer should start installing Windows 10 Professional. Please follow the steps until the Product Key section. Enter your activation key when you are at this step and click Next.

If any error message is shown after this screen please click on Do this later at the bottom of the screen to activate your Windows 10 using automated phone activation. Please see the next section for phone activation.

How to activate your Windows 10 Professional? Press Windows+R, or type this command straight into the search bar: SLUI.EXE 4. The dialogue box will offer a list of countries. Choose yours from the dropdown list and it will show you both the free number to call and your installaGon ID. At this point, make a note of the installaGon ID and call the number. You will need to enter your installaGon ID on your phone keypad. The automated system will read your installaGon key back to you. Use the Enter ConfirmaGon ID to confirm your installaGon.

A0er entering your confirmaGon id please click the “Ac,vate Windows” bu$on at the bo$om of the window. A0er this step your Windows 10 Professional will be acGvated successfully. If any issues arise please do not hesitate to contact us.
