Changing/Resetting your password To change your password to a better, more secure one; you may do it via a Student PC on campus, or the Library Helpdesk. To change it on a Student PC, do CTRL + ALT + DEL and look for the "Change Password" option. Your new password must be a strong password. A strong password is 8 – 16 characters, does not include common words or names, combines uppercase & lowercase letters and at least one number. It's not mandatory, but symbols are good practice too. Office356 offers a facility to update passwords however passwords set in Office365 do not synchronise back to other Central systems. To avoid confusion we suggest you avoid this method. If you forget your password, or reset it incorrectly, you will not be able to access your MyCentral email. Your password will need to be reset by the Library Help Desk on 9427 1450.
