Access to the Humanitarian Assistance

The governmental team led by Union Minister for Ministry of Border Affairs accompanied by representatives of UN Agencies and INGOs had made the field trips to Rakhine State for three times having access for the humanitarian assistance to the affected persons from both communities. First trip:

From (13-6-2012) to (17-6-2012)

Second trip:

From (27-6-2012) to (29-6-2012)

Third trip:

From (16-7-2012) to (18-7-2012)

Main Purpose of Visit • First Trip Restoration of peace and stability and to provide the emergency relief for the affected persons of both communities • Second Trip Sustaining of relief campaign and promoting to resettlement stage, establishing and initiating the resettlement plan for the affected persons • Third Trip Coordination on Humanitarian Assistance from the International communities and progressing the resettlement campaign, normalization initiatives between the community
