Ceremony There are many special locations across our Estate to hold your ceremony including the Circa 1876 Gardens, Chapel, Grand Marquee, Willow Tree, Wisteria Garden and Convent Fountain. Each has its own unique atmosphere and mood, catering for all wedding visions and styles. All locations include 8 wooden pews and a signing table. With four separate locations to choose from across the Estate, impeccable service and our innate ability to understand your vision, we will work with you to create a unique celebration for a once-in-alifetime occasion.

Reception Venues

Circa 1876 Nestled amongst picturesque vineyards and filled with limitless whimsical charm and eclectic antiques, the original cottage dates back to 1876. French doors open onto the verandah and the enchanting mop top aisle garden. This venue is relaxed elegance at it’s best. Maximum of 150 guests, Grand Marquee Elegantly appointed beside established vineyards and adjacent to the historic Convent, the Grand Marquee provides a unique wedding space for up to 130 guests. The traditional French-designed white marquee allows various seating arrangements and provides for the opening of the side walls to enjoy the region’s beautiful countryside. Guests of a wedding held here will be truly romanced by a country full of stars come nightfall. The Chapel Picture perfect for true romantics, The Chapel is ideal for a small intimate gathering. Originally built in 1888, this Welsh Baptist Chapel has been lovingly restored. Although not consecrated it is an ideal setting for private wedding reception and cocktail functions. Maximum of 40 guests. Restaurant Eighty Eight Restaurant Eighty Eight is located inside the iconic Convent. The restaurant name is taken from the street address of Convent and as it is such an auspicious number it has been melded firmly into the title. Double eights symbolise infinite prosperity and happy relationships which bodes well for a restaurant set in the heart of a hotel that is the scene for so many marriage proposals and nuptials. FAQs What time may I have my reception from? Your reception room hire begins once your Pre-Dinner Drinks have commenced. The length of time you are in the reception room is determined by the room hire included in your wedding package. Should you wish to extend the room hire, charges apply and it is required to be pre-arranged. Additional charges for DJ extension and beverages also apply. Please note curfews do apply at some venues due to proximity to accommodation.

FAQs I have booked an outdoor ceremony – what happens if the weather is not suitable? Should the weather be deemed not suitable an undercover space will be used for your ceremony. The option will vary depending on availability but will be discussed with your wedding coordinator prior to your wedding date. Please note the decision will be made at the hotel’s discretion. Is there a curfew on any of the reception rooms? Please note curfews do apply at some venues due to the proximity to accommodation, please discuss with your wedding coordinator to confirm exact reception finish times. What time can I set up from? Please note access times are not able to be confirmed until one week prior to the reception. We wish to go ahead with our booking - what do we do next? Once you advise that you wish to confirm your wedding with us, your wedding coordinator will send you a custom contract. A signed copy of this along with a 25% deposit (50% if booking within 6 months) of your estimated total is due within 5 working days to confirm your booking.
