About Profile Questions Overview This document is intended as a reference for applicants who want to gather information as they prepare to fill out the profile sections. The following pages list each possible question field that can appear in a profile section. However, most students won’t see every one of these questions. In many cases, a question is only displayed to some students (for example, only students with an international home address may see questions pertaining to international applicants). Remember that not all colleges and universities require answers to the complete list of questions. You may prefer to work on your profile in response to which sections are required by a college you’re applying to, which you’ll see when you begin an application to that college. Also, it’s important to remember individual colleges may not require all profile sections. For example, many schools don’t require you enter your high school coursework here, but will instead require only the official transcript.

This document contains a list of profile sections and questions, but many questions aren’t displayed to every applicant. Most applicants won’t ever need to answer every single one.

Colleges determine which profile sections they want to collect, so it is possible you won’t need to fill out all the sections in order to complete your college applications.
