Objectives » Selling our own Products » Co-operating with 3rd Party Application Providers …complementing our own offerings

» Assuring 3rd Party Applications running stable together with our equipment ...following an optimized process

» Investing only in Businessrelevant Applications ...without preventing other Partners from using our equipment

4

Processes » We distinguish three major processes to handle Co-operations with 3rd Party Application Providers: » Registration – providing a platform for exchanging information with partners without causing much effort for us

» Qualification – testing an Application - without taking any liabilities

» Certification – verifying an Application – providing 3rd level Support at Customer sites in case of problems taking care to keep integrations running with future releases

Qualification – Living the Pareto Principle » Qualifying an Application, which is easy to integrate with Aastra’s IP PBX systems, is an appropriate measure to provide a Customer solution with a reasonable effort » Verification can be done locally – thus decentralizing the workload, avoiding language barriers... » Aastra centrally publishes a Qualification Diploma, assuring the quality and distributing the information to other CSUs » Qualification implies a certain level of risk and there is a centralized fallback for 3rd level Support issues solving potential Customer problems – which will be invoiced
