a masterpiece from the past... TheGreat Pyramid_. an incredible feat of ancient engineeringprecision - rivalled only by the awesome task of transporting the outer blocksof granite, first on the Nile and later overlandto the actual building site. Blaesbjerg know-howand modern marine engineering has created another masterpiece the Blaesbjerg patent Stability System- an integral part of the BlaesbjergHeavyLift technique. Toolate, unfortunately, to assist the ancient Egyptians- but ready to cope with present-day heavylift operations anywherein the world.

TheBlaesbjerg fleet has oeen built up over the past 8 yearsto attain its presentposition as one of the largest andmostflexible heavylift fleets in the world. Thecombinationof relatively small. shallow-drafted, self-sustained ships and the Blaesbjerg Stability Systemshas resulted in a uniquely flexible fleet capable of handling odd dimensionsand specific heavylifts ranging from 100 tons to 1,200tons as well as generalcargoes. Everyvesselin this heavylift fleet is classified on a world-wide basis.

Blaesbjerg HeavyLift also transported the huge Iowloaders as these were unavailable in Turkey. Another feature of this impressive package deal was the transport of one of the largest cranes in the world whicl ~ was needed for the erection of the highest refinery towers.

cargo handling The Stability Systemrepresents an important safety factor by ensuringthat the ship is retained in an upright position - ~’ithouf heeling tendencies - during any cargo handling operation including water-to-water. Damage risks’are thus reduced to an absolute minimum. The combination of the ship cranes and the unique Stability System enables Blaesbjerg HeavyLift to masterthe existing conditions in almost any port in the worla - regardless of pier constructionor lack of facilities
