HOW WE HELP – a hand up, not a hand out 

Using monetary donations, volunteer labour and donated materials, Habitat purchases land, builds homes and sells them to partner families with no down payment and zero-interest mortgages that are geared to income.



Affordable mortgages reduce the financial stress on families, allowing them to take care of other needs such as childcare, transportation, groceries, education, clothing, etc.



Partner families’ monthly mortgage payments go into a revolving fund that is used to build homes for other families in need.
