Notes on Places of Visit : • Kabini Riverside Resort: Once a Private hunting area for the British, this famous Wildlife destination has a rich variety of Flora and Fauna, making it a gorgeous tourist spot. Kabini has in store hints of various elements of nature, be it a huge variety of plantation, abundance of wild life ranging from Carnivores to mammals to birds or the terrain where each type is a part of and a compliment to other. • The Namdroling Monastry : It is the largest teaching center of Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the World. It has a beautiful Golden Temple, set amidst vast, wild jungle surroundings.
Notes on Places of Visit : Continued • Mahabalipuram: This is an ancient, historic town on the Coast of Bay of Bengal and was a bustling seaport during the time of Periplus (I century CE) and Ptolemy(140 CE). It has a group of Sanctuaries, carved out of rock, along the coast of Bay of Bengal in 7th and 8th Centuries. This is a UNESCO Heritage site. • Marina Beach: It is considered as the World’s largest Natural Urban beach, with a stretch of 8.1 Miles, all along the Coramandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal. Crowded heavily on Week ends, it has Street vendors selling local food, curios etc. • Chennai Museum: The Chennai Museum is a Museum of Human history and Culture, dating back to 1851.It is particularly rich in Archaeological and Numismatic collection. It has the largest collection of Roman antiquities, outside of Europe.
