B. CEIR-ARCO'S STRATEGY FOR THE ORGANISATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNATIONAL (EU AND NON-EU) COOPERATION PROJECTS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME CEIR-ARCO will work with the cooperation of the Regional Ministry Education (RME) to organize and implement international (EU and non-EU) cooperation projects within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program.

THE STRATEGY WILL BE FOCUSED ON:   

Activities that strengthen the cooperation between organizations with a view to establishing exchanges of good practices. Activities that promote the development, testing and/or implementation of innovative practices in the field of education and training. Activities that facilitate the recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning. Activities to exchange teachers and teaching experiences.

This Institution will do so in a pro-active way, establishing from the very beginning: 

The objectives for the participation 'Strengthening quality through mobility and cross-border cooperation'.

 

The role it intends to play 'extending one of the activities above'. The results which it expects to achieve 'they will lead to future development of the Institution's international involvement'.

‘Once committed to a given project, the Institution undertakes to support fully any student and staff 'teacher' participating in it, both as coordinator and partner’.

VISIBILITY OF PROJECT ACTIVITIES: The Institution will ensure that the visibility of project activities and results is a priority in order to exploit and maximize the service/product in CEIR-ARCO itself and beyond by making use of the Internet. Thus, the Institution will raise awareness not only within the academic community, but also beyond.

C. EXPECTED IMPACT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME ON THE MODERNISATION OF OUR INSTITUTION ‘CEIR-ARCO’ CEIR-ARCO undertakes to contribute to the European Union's modernization and internationalization agenda in VET at the tertiary level, which includes: 1. Increasing attainment levels to provide the graduates and researchers Europe needs. Continuing monitoring and improvement of teaching/learning/assessment on the basis of ECHE quality criteria will focus our efforts to keep our VET courses up to date and up to the highest standards. In our view international mobility truly does 'change lives and open minds', bringing a richer understanding not only of one's academic/professional area, but also building citizenship. The expansion of mobility in all academic areas will have strong and positive impact on attainment levels across the Institution. 2. Improving the quality and relevance of higher education - of VET at the tertiary level. Quality and relevance can be ensured by continuous checking, up-dating of relevant competences and consultation with stakeholders. We will collaborate with other key VET centres. We will use the results of those projects to reformulate the Learning Outcomes, which will increase quality of programs for mobile and non-mobile students.

3. Strengthening quality through mobility and cross-border cooperation. Most of our policy priorities include reinforcing the mobility of students and teachers and the mobility of knowledge and insight through large-scale cooperative projects. In our view, for the reasons mentioned above, reaching our policy goals will impact on relevance and hence on quality. 4. Linking higher education, research and business for excellence and regional development. We expect that participation in this program, emphasizing professional and on-the job and academic training, and offering the bases to consolidate the VET sides of the triangle, will give great impulse to the competiveness of our country, our micro-region and to Europe. 5. Improving governance and funding. Erasmus will have impact on our organizational structures, not only for internationalization but also, through students or staff 'teachers' mobility and the introduction of new ways of consulting stakeholders, on other aspects of governance as well. The Institution will work towards achieving these main priorities by participating in one or several of the following ACTIVITIES: KA1: student and staff mobility within Europe and/ or to /from Third Countries KA2: strategic partnerships, knowledge alliances, capacity building with countries KA3: networks and policy support measures Therefore, the POLICY OBJECTIVES are as follow:    

Develop cooperation with partners in EU or non-EU countries. Promote and support student and staff 'teachers' mobility and develop non-discrimination policies. Outline a clear policy towards the development of integrated, transnational teaching activities. Recognize the importance of, and provide visibility to, the results achieved by the members engaged in individual mobility or in cooperation projects with partners.
