This classic, modular design transitions smoothly from professional, corporate or home office to living room or den. Our Barrister Bookcase units are crafted from solid birch or oak. Sections are extra deep and tall and specifically designed to fit books (and Bindertek binders!) up to 12" high. In fact, each door section holds up to 11 Standard (3") binders or 18 Slim (2") binders. Receding doors allow for easy one-hand operation and access to treasured items and files, stored neatly and dust-free inside.
Mix & Match Components Easily add on units as your storage needs change. Each section effortlessly fits together with an interlocking rail and groove system to ensure sturdy, perfectly aligned cases. No tools required! The classic glass door slides up and recedes into the cabinet. b. All-Wood Receding Door Section. A raised-panel, solid wood door keeps your files and binders hidden neatly from view. c. Double Door Section. Solid wood-framed double doors open outward. Perfect for concealing multimedia and office supplies. 3. Base. A base is required to support each Bookcase unit. Choose from the Open Square Leg Base (shown) or the Closed Box Base.
