Overview This manual describes how to setup and use the SSL-VPN connection software (developed by Array Networks, Inc.) to access the Elephant applications (JIRA/Confluence/FishEye/Subversion). If you have any questions, please contact the Elephant Helpdesk by email. If you are a new user of Elephant system and don’t know the Elephant Helpdesk email address, please ask Sony’s contact person for the address.
(1) Downloading the SSL-VPN connection software 1.1) Download the SSL-VPN connection software from the following site.

Note: Currently the software supports Windows Vista, 7, 8.1 and 10. Windows 10 Anniversary Update is also supported.

(2) Installing the SSL-VPN connection software Note: Administrator privilege is required for the installation.
2.1) Unzip the downloaded archive and double-click "SSLVPNSetup_x64.exe". (For 32bit environment, "SSLVPNSetup_x32.exe" is the file name.)

2.2) Click the “Next” button when "Array SSL VPN Setup" wizard screen appears. (It is recommended that you terminate all other applications.)

2.3) Click the “I Agree” button on the License Agreement screen.

2.4) The installation starts.

2.5) Check "Run Array SSL VPN" and click the “Finish” button when the "Completing…" screen appears.

(3) Configuring the SSL-VPN connection software 3.1) Select "Create" from the "Profile" menu.

3.2) Create a new profile for Elephant.
Profile Name: any name you like VPN Server: vpn.sosdt.sinfony.ne.jp VPN Port: 443 Save username and password: unchecked VPN username: empty VPN password: empty VPN Type: select "AG_VPN" (Default – don’t change) Enable RSA Token Automation: unchecked
Click if proxy setting is required.

3.3) Optional: Proxy Setting. (Configure your company's proxy)
If your company’s proxy server does not require authentication, select “Auto”.
Click when finished
After clicking “OK” button, proxy setting screen disappears. Then Array SSL-VPN main screen appears.

(4) Connecting / disconnecting SSL-VPN 4.1) Connecting
Note: The SSL-VPN connection software requires Administrator privileges.
4.1.1) Select your profile and click the "Connect" button.

4.1.2) Select your Sony PKI client certificate and click the "OK" button.

4.1.3) When an SSL-VPN connection is established, red "A" icon appears in the task bar.

Please note you can access the Elephant applications (JIRA/Confluence/FishEye/Subversion) only in case an SSL-VPN connection is established.
Note: You can use your intranet connections while an Elephant SSL-VPN connection is established, but you cannot establish other SSL-VPN connections while an Elephant SSL-VPN connection is active.
4.2) Disconnecting
4.2.1) Select your profile and click the "Disconnect" button.

4.2.2) Wait until the "Status" field becomes blank.

Note: The “A” icon in the task bar turns gray when the SSL-VPN is disconnected.

(5) When SSL-VPN connection issue occurs 5.1) Checking the SSL-VPN connection software version.
If you are using older versions, Elephant helpdesk will ask you to update the software to 9.0.1.99 first. The version number can be checked as follows.

5.2) Getting detailed log.
If you are facing the SSL-VPN connection issue, Elephant helpdesk usually asks you to get the detailed log information.
Accordingly the logger screen appears and the path name of the log file is shown in red. Then please make sure you reproduced the issue, and send the log file to Elephant helpdesk.
