5

Initial view after the first start-up Servers view for the list of devices to communicate with (server connection info can be preserved in the program configuration). Properties view for connection parameters of server devices. Main operation view for folders with server data models.

6

Connection to a new server device with data model browsing

Server device name and address can be set in Properties window.

7

Server data model after connection and browsing Efficient browsing procedure

8

Connection to a new server device using its SCL file Double-click to expand the model read from SCL file.

Server device name and address can be set in Properties window (IP address from ICD file may be incorrect). 9

Connection to a new server device using its SCL file Off-line model browsing possible. Click Connect/Associate icon to connect with the device in the network.

10

Data model view True data model as defined in IEC 61850-7. No confusion with MMS Named Variable space.

The tool can maintain connections to multiple server devices.

11

Possible simultaneous connection with multiple servers

Each server view can be undocked from or docked to the main window: HMI can be arranged as preferred by the tool user.

12

IEC 61850 control services

Services as defined in IEC 61850-7-2. Control services can be invoked in the context menu of the data model or using the program icon.

13

IEC 61850 control services Control command window includes: • command parameters, • command trigger buttons, • information on the present state of the controlled object, • log of the command sequence and reports.

14

IEC 61850 control services Command execution and its result are easy to trace in the log.

15
