Golf & Safari Itinerary Day 1 - Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport. Transfer to your hotel on the outskirts of Arusha. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met at the aircraft steps by a member of the airport staff who will be holding a sign board bearing your name. He or she will accompany you to the airport VIP lounge (both services subject to extra charge) where you will be assisted in completing all entry formalities and escorted outside. There you will be met by our one of our professional guides who will drive you to Siringit Villa for your first night in Arusha. On the Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate, Siringit is a luxurious 6-bedroom villa. This spacious and elegant property which overlooks the 5th fairway is intended to provide our guests with a unique experience which cannot be rivalled in Arusha. Your dinner will be prepared for you by Axel Janssens, a Belgian national who is one of the top chefs in Tanzania.

Day 2 – Full day of Golf. After breakfast, your butler will escort you to the club house and assist you in the preparation of your round(s) of Golf. There are a number of sets of clubs available for your use at the villa and additional sets are available for hire at the club to include a set for left-handed players. We recommend that you take caddies to assist you in carrying your clubs as well as in finding any balls you may lose. They know the course well and can save time searching.
On a clear day the course enjoys fantastic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and the Maasai Steppes all of which serve to enhance your experience. Look out for zebra, dik-dik and other small antelopes which can often be seen grazing in the rough on either side of the fairways. Today you will play 18, 27 or 36 holes of Golf as you prefer (the green fees for the first 18 holes are included in the price of this itinerary) breaking only for lunch which will be served to you at the Villa literally a few metres from the tee-box on the 5th fairway.

Day 3 – Depart for the Serengeti National Park. After breakfast you will depart from Siringit Villa and drive to Arusha Airport where you will catch an early morning flight to the world famous Serengeti National Park. You will be met at the airstrip by one of our professional guides who will transfer you to the camp in time for a hot lunch. Your game drive starts the moment you get in your Safari vehicle and continues until you reach your camp. ‘Camp Zebra’ is named after the Zebra which lead the wildebeest during their annual migration. Like the animal it is named after, the Camp “leads” the wildebeest to the Northern part of the Serengeti National Park from July till November and to the Southern part from December till March each year. After lunch, you will set off in search of the wildebeest migration, the greatest mass movement of animals to be found anywhere on the planet.

Day 4 - Balloon Safari adventure followed by a game drive. Today you will leave camp before dawn and board a hot air balloon for an adventure of a lifetime (subject to an additional charge). Floating across the savannah will allow you a unique perspective as well as unique photographic opportunities of the wildlife below you. After a soft landing, you will be met with Champagne and a gourmet breakfast after which you will be able to enjoy a game drive before returning to the camp in the evening.

Day 5 – Fly to Zanzibar This morning you will be transferred to the nearest airstrip in time for your scheduled flight to the magical island of Zanzibar. You will be met at Zanzibar airport by one of the ZanTours VIP transfer vehicles which will deliver you to the Sea Cliff Resort & Spa. This superb hotel is located on the North-East coast of the island only twenty minutes drive from the historical Stone Town. It boasts a 9-hole Golf course, the first to be built on the island since before independence from Britain in 1963. Immediately after lunch, you will be escorted to the club house where you will be properly equipped for a round of Golf. You will then play a round of 9 or 18 holes as you prefer (the green fees for the first 9 holes are included in the price of this itinerary).

Day 6 – Morning visit to Stone Town followed by more Golf. A visit to the island of Zanzibar cannot be considered complete without taking a tour of Stone Town which, like the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, is classified a world heritage site (subject to an additional charge). Located on the western coastline of Zanzibar, the Stone Town of Zanzibar is an outstanding example of a Swahili trading town. Like the old port of Mombasa and the island of Lamu in Kenya, this type of town developed along the coast of East Africa first under Arab, then Indian and finally European influences. Despite the passage of time, Zanzibar has been able to remain faithful to its indigenous roots and a walk through its ancient streets can be a very rewarding experience. You will return to your hotel in time for lunch after which you may again play another round of 9 or 18 holes of Golf. Overnight in Sea Cliff Resort & Spa on an all-inclusive basis. Day 7 – A final round of Golf before leaving for the airport and your return flight home.
